I dont write negative reviews often, but please help yourself. Do NOT go to this location if youre doing a warranty exchange. Arrived at the store ready to pay, with cash/card and they said their processing system wasn't letting them. They wanted me to call back Tmobile to have them send me a new phone directly to my home. The reps were not very helpful, only advice offered was for me to call back Tmobile which Tmobile said the store should be able to override the payment error. The rep just kept saying "I understand your frustration". I replied "what can I do to help resolve the issue?"....felt like I was the one providing service to them lol... Didnt get the name but a heavier set hispanic guy. Arrived to the store ready to pick up my phone, left with no phone with no helpful advice. Sorry to say but pretty bad experience. read more

They took care of me. I didn't have a charger because mine had gotten damaged so I had to stop by there and yep I came out winning. I got a piece for my charger just a core for 1999+ tax so that wasn't that bad versus if I went to the Apple Store so yeah shout out to T-Mobile B St. this was the first T-Mobile store that connected me from Galaxy All the way to the iPhone and that's when I got started. iPhone X back in 2019. I stopped since I upgraded, but I'm thinking about the 16. I don't know I don't know maybe for my son. He needs a new phone. He's still dealing with that 13 lol but I've been a T-Mobile member Since the Tony Hawk side kick so you know I'm an original OG a real customer a valuable customer I'mma say I'm a VIP all the way VIP I Mrs. VIP you heard me lol AnyWho, I've been with T-Mobile for about man. What a pathetic store. I came here to get my dad a phone only to be told they are out of stock of everything but the iPhones AFTER I spent more than 20 minutes waiting for the sales gal to go through some unnecessary promos. She knew I wanted to get a simple phone and gave the last SIM card they had in stock to a customer who was there after me. So I couldn't even get an activated SIM card. I will be complaining to T-Mobile corporate about this. This was a very poor experience. Please don't waste a customers time and use shady business tactics to sell your products. It really should not take terribly long to get a phone when you paying full price for the thing. Btw: I was very CLEAR when I first walked in and informed the workers that my objective coming to this store is to buy and set up a phone TODAY. Why not just say you don't have it and let me go to another store in the beginning of my visit instead of wasting my time playing a stupid game. read more

I've been a loyal customer of TMO for years but this retail location sadly isn't up to par. I've been in a couple of times but the sales associates really don't seem that knowledgeable or engaged. I was able to resolve what I needed by calling customer care but I wish that retail here in Hayward was a better experience. I'm still a customer but I'll just go elsewhere if I need in person support. read more

I've been in this location 3-4 times and I have never been disappointed. Every time I have received amazing customer service, from a smile and greeting upon walking in to precise and correct service to a friendly goodbye. Service has taken a bit of time, but I know it's because of the system and the phones. The staff does their best to get you in and out as quickly as possible (on your accord), but are absolutely willing to spend as much time with you as you need. They are well informed on their products and make solid recommendations for products you need matched to your lifestyle. 2 of those times, Sarah helped me out. She remembered me the last time I came, too! Everyone here is so pleasant and I am always pleased with the service I receive here. read more

Recently switched to T-Mobile. This soon became a regretful switch. My boyfriend and I recently visited this store and had one hell of an experience, the least to say our problem never got resolved nor given any type of other resolution, a simple, "oh well, too bad" from the Manager, after the wrong-doing was made by one of her employees at the store. Not only are we pissed but overall it saddens me that they could get away with "promising" or "giving" people EXPIRED promotions, how is this POSSIBLE? Walked in there getting promised or "locked-in" for TWO promotions and neither of them were honored, one was a "FREE" Samsung Tab A "on us" is what they called it, resulted that I was paying the line and tablet itself on my first month bill!!! And the other one was an "IPhone 11 on us" promotion when trading in an eligible iPhone, honestly the only thing "on us" this store has is a bunch of LIARS!!!! The names of these individuals have been kept off, because at least one of us has a sense of respect and honor. read more

Great service. I was in and out in 15 minutes with new phone service switching from Sprint. Kim was very straight forwad, professional and knowledgeable! Couldn't have asked for better in store service and glad I switched over. As bonus, I can actually use my phone inside my house now as Sprint coverage in the downtown Hayward area is very iffy. This is in fact the worst experience with T-Mobil I have ever had. It began when I first signed up with this location. Antonio was handling my transaction however, he could not stay focused on giving the correct information the first time. He suggested I get a zero down phone and add a tablet as a text line only for just $10 more a month. I was interested and said go for it and he told me multiple times that I would pay activation and tax on both the phone and the tablet. Unfortunately after 1hr plus of my life wasted and waste of making a number for the tablet, I found out his information was incorrect and I would have to pay a down payment for the tablet. Not only did he not give the correct info, he would also began conversing with his co-workers about unrelavnt topics mid conversation. My phone recently has been acting weird by closing apps and switching my music by itself, I stopped in to the same TMobile and talked with Antonio again. Being that I was a familiar face I was hoping to have a pleasant visit. Man it turn for the worst too quick, I told him that my phone is changing and exiting by itself. He then replied, it could be your body, or update the app or it may be buffering. These kinds of glitches never happen on any other device period. He then said try deleting it and re- downloading it and if that doesn't work then u can come back for an exchange. I then did just that I deleted it and re- downloaded it and nun the less it did again right before him. He then said let me began the exchange and when I asked about buying a different phone he immediately said I would have to pay the restocking fee for a brand new defected phone. I was so disappointed and I asked von the same question and he said of course not if he determined the phone was defective no restocking fee would apply. Not only was Antonio's information once again wrong he asked me my telephone number 4 times even though I told him I still don't know it, the phone is new. I then looked up my own number in my phone by accessing the Sim. I showed he 2 twice and he still asked for my number 2 times after. After he asked 4 times he responded to me saying "you should know your number ". Not only was that demeaning it was embarrassing and down right poor customer service. I was responded the phone is new and he just no care in the fact the is clearly not interested in providing any kind of true customer service. He was also interupting me the whole conversation asking do you have WiFi and I'm like please I'm trying to to tell you something, i do have WiFi but I'm paying for the best 4G network aren't I? Overall Antonio is a horrible repersentaion of this new store. Antonio is horrible repersentaion of the T-Mobil company I would never recommend dealing with this guy to anyone. He is only focused on you spending your money and him closing a deal. No customer service involved Antonio is the face of this company and he is a horrible representation of not only T-Mobil but simply this who provide customer service. My husband and I went to this location in which the sales associate asked to check my credit right away. When I asked if the inquiry would effect my score, he said "no". When at home, I received a notification on Credit Karma that T Mobile had checked my credit and that my credit score would be reduced due to the inquiry. I should have went with my gut. Instead I trusted the word of the associate. A horrible representation of T Mobile. read more

I went there last week to get a phone, this guy named Josh, was setting up my phone and asked me if I wanted to be on the prepaid plan. I told him no. He comes to me at the counter where I am waiting and says, here's your pin. I said, I already have a pin, he said well I changed it. I had no idea he had switched me to prepaid. Oh my gosh, when I realized what he had done, I had to call T-Mobile right away. I was on the phone fighting with them from 6:30 -8:00 trying to get them to switch it back. They said it would take 24 hours for me to be able to switch back from prepaid. It took 3 days. I went to the store, to speak to the manager and he goes. Oh I realized what he did after you left. Oh my gosh, that's so messed up, he could have let me know, but he didn't. This store has been reported by T-Mobile corporation. I will never go there again. Antonio was very great at trying to help me, but he got the run around to. That was so wrong of Josh to switch me to prepaid after I told him specifically I didn't want it. That's totally wrong!!! Remember you have to put what the customer wants, not do what you want. I hope nobody else goes through this. It was really awful. read more
