When I got to the store in Hagerstown they actually had the phone I was looking for and they said they could transfer the number. Despite this the store manager brought up being put on a more expensive plan a couple of times. I told them about my experience at the other store and that I really didn't want a new plan at which point the manager made some comment about me being triggered. After going through a 30 min process to get my new phone activated, the manager turns around and tells me that I can only get a new phone with the new plan and that I would have to contact the company to change that plan back. He said the only way to get a new phone without a new plan was to do it through the company, I decided to get a new phone without a new plan through T-Mobil website. When I contacted the website they told me what I had just been told at the store in Hagerstown was completely untrue. This company seems to combine the hard sell with misinformation to force you to get a more expensive plan. After the four hours I spent on this I should be the one getting paid!
