This is the state of the pool after shocking 4 times and algaecide treatment

The process started when I sent an inquiry to Flohrs Pools, Inc. in January of 2024. I received an email from Travis Knight in response to my inquiry. He stopped by my house, and we discussed the pool that I wanted and where it was. Everything started fine and professionally. Travis needed to come by the house and view the yard for the permit, but he was two hours late; the day he came by to put in the stakes, he was also hours late. When we discussed the pool installation, he said that it would be done in May, close to the middle of May. I stated that was a perfect date because I was going to be out of town that last week of April and the first week of May. I also informed him that I would be financing, and he said that he would call me when he got back to the store. Travis never called; I waited about a week; I understand that things happen, so I attempted to give him the benefit of the doubt. Two weeks no phone call, so I called him. He explained that he would call and set up financing closer to the installation date. That's great, but Travis should have communicated with me two weeks prior instead of telling me that he would call when he got back to the store. The week of 22 April 2024, I was contacted by Leah Meyers to schedule the pool installation. She had on the schedule for 27 April 2024; I informed her that I would be out of town. She said they could still get the installation completed. On 27 April, the pool installation was completed, and the pool was filled with water. Flohrs Pool workers left, didn't say anything to my mom, who was home at the time. I received no phone call or further instructions from Travis. I came back on 09 May 2024, and the pool was full of water; the filter was never started, and no chemicals were added to the pool; it was just a container of stagnant water, and the ladder was just thrown in the yard on its side. No word from Travis, absolutely nothing. On 15 May, I called Travis and asked about the electrician, the ladder, and the filter. He said that he would call me back in an hour. He never called, again I gave him the benefit of the doubt, and I realized that was a big mistake on my part. I called Travis again on 17 May, and finally, he came out, turned on the filter, and put the dirty ladder into my pool. He never showed me how to put chlorine in the filter/pump. Apparently, I was given a test kit, chemicals for the pool, a vacuum, and other pool accessories that were just placed under my deck by my wall, but no one informed me that they were there or how to use them. I have cleaned my pool every day, and put in the floating chlorine holders, but my pool water is green with algae, and I can't get it clean. I have shocked the pool 4 times and used algaecide and clarifier, and still, the pool does not come clean, and when I test the pool, it shows no level of chlorine and low pH. I have had to backwash the filter every day to get it to work, which is not normal. I have a pool I can't use because Flohrs Pools Inc. failed with the installation.

Always helpful with products and pool water tests. Nice showroom with pools to see. Prices are competitive with other pool stores.

I'm looking into getting this guy in court and seeing if he can explain all his screw up and trying to over billing me. Like I said don't ever use this company

They were supposed to remove the winter cover, install the pump and filter, vacuum the pool, and balance the chemicals. What they actually did was remove the cover and lazily attach the pump and filter so it leaked. They then left our house without explaining anything, forcing us to call for an update. Of course, the owner answers the phone, not the worker sent to our house, so the lack of communication extends to him as well. He complained that he underbid the job and it was costing him too much to send workers to our house and basically told us we were out of options. When pressed, we threatened to negativity review his company online and we questioned his commitment to customer service. He reluctantly agreed to send someone back to finish the job. 2 weeks later, we call because no one ever showed up. Again, we're told that he underbid and won't be finishing the work. In all, we paid $250 to have our winter cover removed and the filter and pump removed from our she'd. HARDLY a fair deal and certainly the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor. If I could rate this sorry excuse for a company 0 stars, I would. Bill Wolfe is NOT a good business owner, is NOT committed to customer service, is NOT well-represented by his employees, and DEFINITELY IS A SCAMMER AND CON ARTIST. Also, check the rest of the reviews: the only 5 star ratings are from family members. Again, SCAMMER AND CON ARTIST.

They then told me i needed to drain all the water out in case we get another cold snap and that they really couldn't tell me when they could come out to install due them being very busy. Told me to drain the water and use a wet vac to get as much water out of the tub as i can- so i proceeded to do as directed, that night i got to thinking about it and just had a bad feeling, so in the am i immediately started looking for a 2nd opinion. That is when i found my life saver Tim- called him- he called me back the next day (friday) and i told him what had been told to me- he said that doesn't sound like a bad circuit board and said he could be out that following Monday- Tim came Monday and within 10 minutes found the problem- just sound bad wiring from the electrician, he fixed it! I am so thankful for Tim! He is very professional, and honest. If i could give Tim and Total Spa 10 STARS i absolutely would! He is your guy for Total Spa Repair!
