I went in on a Monday evening, at 7:30, 30 minutes prior to them closing. I was there to do a "Jump" upgrade on one of my devices. On my account I'm financing three devices for three different lines. One iPhone per line. When the representative took my information, she seemed initially puzzled by my account as if it was something she hadn't quite seen before. I asked her if there was an issue and she stated that because two devices were being financed on one line, the -other- line that was being upgraded couldn't be upgraded because "it has an eSIM". This is 100% false for numerous reasons, mainly and most obviously because the device I was upgrading was an iPhone 13, which has a physical SIM card, not an eSIM. Nevertheless, she referred me to call customer care, which after I had done so they informed me after looking at my account, they saw no reason why the upgrade couldn't have been completed. I assume her inability or unwillingness to help me that day was due to it being so close to closing time. Still, overall horrendous experience. I recommend everyone stay away from this store. read more

Went with my mom to get new phones and were immediately greeted by Zach. We had a bad experience at the Preston store in Plano where they kept wanting to charge us restocking fees. I understand the fees but Zach at the Garland store explained we could use our upgrades and avoid the fees. Why couldn't Plano inform us of this? Anyway, looked around and Zach explained the differences of the two phones I was stuck on as well as my mom. He was very honest and knowledgeable about the phones and not just looking to make a sale and get his pay check off us. We were later introduced to Chris who did all the paperwork and transferred our info to our new phones. He was very professional and friendly and explained in detail about our bill and upgrades we had. I know going to phone stores is a pain but this store had a great group of guys that were completely patient and gave us great customer service. Overall I recommend T mobile customers to come to the Garland FireWheel store for any help. Chris and Zach made our experience 100% and got the 5 stars. read more

This store has the worst customer service. I came in today around 11:30 am, two people working, one was talking to a customer about his lines. The other one was talking and showing a customer pictured of his dogs and talk about dog psychology. In the meantime no one tells me if I need to sign in or do anything. So after 10 min standing there I left and no one asked if I needed anything either. I would not get help at this location again. read more

The staff seemed very helpful at first. Very expeditious, I thought. Truth is, they were rushing through to finish up by closing. I asked specific questions and had very specific requests about transferring data from my old phone. Apparently, the sales person (Alma) managed to ignore everything I said and railroaded the process right through. I lost all my Whatsapp messages AND she failed to transfer voicemail messages. Not a huge deal right? Prior to the transfer, I carefully explained to her that there were messages in both applications from someone very close to me whom I lost to COVID last year. She obviously didn't care. All this information is lost forever. If this weren't enough, I just got my first bill and it's $10/month more than she said it would be (taxes and fees included). What's really frustrating is that I'm sure this review will end up being a huge joke to the staff involved and a "non-issue" to T-Mobile. read more

Honestly I have only gone to this location 2 times for very simple tasks. Never on a weekend, or a Tuesday. Due to "T-Mobile Tuesday" anyways I've had to wait extremely long periods of time to even be spoken to, I recently switched from AT&T because it lowered my bill. However with at&t when I went to the store someone ALWAYS greeted me and usually even opened the door for me. They check you in and help you as you come in as well as it gives you a visual of how long you have to wait and how many people are ahead of you. Versus T-Mobile you let yourself in, and "take a seat" and someone eventually says something quickly as they're walking by to grab something "we will be with you as soon as possible" they say the same thing every time. Like OBVIOUSLY you will be with us as soon as possible? You didn't say anything to me when I walked in so why start now? Lol. I've also really just had nothing but problems with my phone since switching which is beyond frustrating not only because its issues I shouldn't have to deal with like for instance they had my voicemail capabilities turned off on their end. Not on my phone where I can turn it on and off myself. So I didn't and couldn't receive voicemails for a couple weeks; with my line of work this was a huge inconvenience. & just the overall customer service hasn't been good at all. On top of all of that. The price I was quoted per month was clearly false because I paid it the first month then the second month it went up by at least $30 so I'm paying almost what I was paying with at&t and I dropped my data for my tablet to get s lower rate so overall it's just a really bad deal and I'm extremely frustrated read more

Yeah, my mother-in-law came to this location first thing when she cracked her iPhone all the associates kept telling her "you really need to upgrade (since she was due for one), there's really nothing we can do" which is total bs. So she went to the one on 66 (by McAllister's) and they gave a total 180 on advisement. More of a "what I would do" type thing AND she came out a lot cheaper WITH better, friendlier customer service. read more

As a company, in a whole, my husband and I have been dealing with 2 deep customer service calls which both never completed with return phone calls back as promised to see if problems were resolved; which they weren't and we still have the WORST service ever. But yet Tmobile is willing to buy out contract and phone deals of others to corn hole them into a bad service and the customer not realizing the truth. STAY WHERE YOU ARE AT! I'M SPEAKING THE TRUTH AND WELCOME OTHERS TO VERIFY THE STORY! VERY poor customer service "management" to be decided. But you can't fix my small little problem of dropped calls, no texting, poor signal while sitting on my couch.
