I was there 3 times in one week. i was unhappy with another carrier and wanted to change. All 3 times I dealt with Oscar. God was looking down on me! First time I came in wanting info. He took plenty of time explaining everything to me. He helped me choose the right plan for my needs. I wanted to think it over. Returning the next day I was ready to make the jump. That was until I found out I needed to finish up paying off my phone and getting some sort of number so I could transfer my phone number. Again I went home to get it all straightened out. When you call my old carrier you are on hold forever. Finally I get that sorted out and went back. Everything went smoothly with Oscar's guidance. He set everything up for me. He even went ahead and started the process to get my money back for my old contract that I had just paid. He made everything so much easier for me rather than just doing the minimum. Sometimes 2 to 3 terminals would be down for a week. The other 4 terminals for the telecommunicators were put together by "spare parts". Pay was low for some telecommunicators. The younger ones 18-23 year olds have no idea about the streets in the communities they were dispatching for. There were a few who also were not sure where surrounding communities were located. Some did not even know where I-290 was. Seriously!!! Management ran a sweat shop facility. 12 hour days and lunch was only a half hour AT YOUR TERMINAL. Breaks not allowed for more than a few minutes. The "kids" in midnight shifts slept and those who were not sleeping, covered for them. Citizens should really question why a "consolidated dispatch center" is so cheap! Most of the Board of Directors on NORCOMM are publuc servants who push for this toyland service. Kickbacks for them? Maybe, they are political cronies. Towns and Villages need to shy away from this company! I DO NOT RECONMEND GOING WITH NORCOMN for consolidated dispatch. Unless of course you do not care for your citizens or a poor community that cannot pay for professionalism.

Instead of expediting another delivery, they scheduled a tech appointment on 7/3/26. I called again after not receiving a confirmation and they shared that the appointment was requested, not confirmed, and there is no technician until the following week. I have asked them to expedite the request - I will literally pick up the equipment if needed to no avail. They also cannot provide me any information about my account to check on the technician confirmation. I have no idea if they will show up, where the equipment will be, or when I will be connected to the Internet, despite it being over a week from initial request. Highly disappointed!!!!!!
