TLDR - If there is an after sale issue, they're rude and they don't honor their printed warranty…read more Let me preface this with I've had most iPhones since the iPhone 4. Between myself and my family, we've probably had around 20 iPhones over the years so we're well versed in the normal wear and tear the factory iPhone can handle and we've never had any sort of cracked screen or anything that would not us to trade in for full trade-in value when upgrading. So that changed this weekend and my wife was in a car accident and in the process, her phone hit screen first on the asphalt and completely shattered. We obviously had to get it replaced so I checked around pricing and reviews. Based on everything I saw, Mr Fix was a great choice for the repair although a little pricier than the other local repair options . I went up to the kiosk on a Sunday afternoon and the technician wasn't very busy and he was courteous while helping me pick out the upgraded screen. He said he'd have it completed in about 35 to 45 minutes and I'd have it before the mall closes. Perfect! All of that happened and I paid in full he had me take a picture of the 60-day warranty for faulty or defective products. Screen was working great! Fast forward to Wednesday. My wife, as she does daily, put her phone in her purse/backpack. She got in the car and put her lil backpack(it's a mini Wolfpak if you know what that is)in the floorboard and we drove to a friends house. When we arrived, she pulled her phone out and there was a bright green line horizontally up the right side of the screen. Everything I read since I was there for the entire ride I know there was no drop or knocks, is it's likely either a loose connection or a faulty screen. This happened after the mall closed so we took it back to the kiosk the following day, four days after the install. I walked up while the same tech was finishing with a customer so I waited my turn. When i went to talk to him he immediately recognized me but when i went to show him my wife's phone, he immediately changed face. Went straight to saying we must have dropped it without even holding the phone or getting close enough to notice any damage(which there is none). There was even a brand new screen protector I put on right after the install and it is still in perfect condition as I'm trying to show him the phone. He insisted on not honoring the warranty so I had no choice but to leave. We went straight to another local business that does the same repairs and the techs there bit agreed after looking at the phone that it was a faulty screen. I'm filing a dispute with my CC company but I'd like others to know that this isn't the best option in the area. You'll overpay for the product and service and if there is any issue, you will be brushed off and not given the time of day.

I had a broken iPhone repair that needed to be fixed quickly. I took it to the repair kiosk in…read moreColumbiana Mall and Mr. Fix replaced the screen within an hour. When I got home later that day I noticed a potential issue wrt an apparently defective portion of the screen. I took it back to the repair facility and was told that it was a problem with my silicone phone case. I swapped the case and used the phone for the next six weeks. Then the new screen physically fell out of the phone so I took it back once again. He continued to blame the case and told me that the case forced the screen away from the phone body. I disagree and cannot see how that was really possible. About six hours later, half of my new screen developed jumping vertical stripes. The repair facility told me that he would need to replace the screen again and would charge me full price because he said that I must have dropped the phone. It was working fine 15 minutes prior to that and stayed in my pants pocket. No phone drop had occurred. When the phone was opened for the replacement screen installation, two brackets designed to hold the phone components were missing even though the screws were still in place. He did not honor the warranty and I refused to let him replace the screen at full price for the second time. I located an alternate repair site nearby and they replaced the screen quickly and at a cost of approximately 25% less. In summary, high price, improper repair method, and refusal to honor his warranty indicates improper repairs as well as very poor customer service. I cannot recommend this individual for any important repair.

I dropped my phone off, and came back in an hour like they told me to. The screen look wonderful, minus a little itty bitty chip near the speaker (like pin needle size, nothing major). So, like a few days later, I cracked the corned of the screen (I have really bad luck haha), near the speaker, but not on the "screen" itself. So that voided the warranty that they offer. Anyway, since they've replaced my screen, my phone doesn't black out like it should when I answer a phone call, and I've hung up on many, many people mid-phone call. In their defense, I never took it back to them because I figured the warranty had been voided and they probably wouldn't do anything about it. That is the only problem I've experienced since having my phone screen replaced. A few weeks ago, I cracked my screen again (this time it was in an Otterbox, ugh!). I plan on taking it back to Cellular Source to have them replace the screen. Overall, I would recommend this place.
