Stopped by here to get my son's screen on his phone fixed. I scheduled the appointment online and I received a $10 off coupon. There parking lot is a little weird, and it's one way in and one way out. It's kind of hard getting back to Two Notch from the parking lot, but if you drive across the parking lot to the light, it's much easier. I walked in and was greeted by the tech who was going to fix the phone. He did a few checks and asked some questions. My son's home button had come off and the tech asked the other tech in the store how much for another home button and he says "charge $15-$30 depending on the service. Mind you I'm standing right there! I'm thinking, you didn't pay a range, so why should I? I didn't really care for him or his response. The tech I was working with charged me $10 and would remove that if the new home button didn't work. He said the phone should be ready in about 45 minutes. I left and returned about 45 minutes later and it was all done. As promised, the home button did not work so, I wasn't charged. Then I used my $10 off coupon and I was gone. New screen and his phone looks brand new. I will return here for phone fixes (hopefully there won't be anymore). Only Upgrades, lol!!! read more

I went to Batteries Plus at 10159 Two Notch Road B, Columbia, SC to change the battery in my keyless entry for my Chevy Silverado. The first thing Josh did was try to upsell me to $23.95 for life time batteries for the keyless entry instead of $16.99 for a one time deal. I went with the one-time deal. The total rang up at $18.35. I don't mind paying for a service, but given the battery (CR2032) costs $0.97 when buying a 10 pack on Amazon. $16.02 to put the battery in is criminal. Even if you did his best deal it would take approximately 22 more replacements to break even on the deal. The problem with that is that the battery lasted 8 years - it was the only used given one of two. So, at 22 X 8, it would take 176 years to break even. Batteries Plus is a rip off. Buy the battery elsewhere and put it in yourself. They have lost my business. read more

Had an appointment to have a phone screen repair last Thursday, even got a confirmation text in the morning, get there at the scheduled appointment time and they had no technician there, so I rescheduled to today Wednesday 17th, and yesterday around 5pm I received a call from them to apologise for last week, then told me that they never ordered the replacement screen, so unable to fit the screen, so unprofessional, they had 10 days to order the screen, but couldn't be bothered, stay away from them.. read more

I have had great experiences with Batteries Plus. I once brought in a car key that had broken in half and was being held together with electrical tape. I expected to need a full replacement and thought it would cost around $200. Since the key still worked, they recommended replacing the casing instead and only charged me $50. Another time, I brought in my automatic starter remote because the unlock button stopped working when the car was running. They opened it, found that the button had shifted, and fixed it on the spot at no charge. They truly have a customer first attitude. Everyone is friendly, they take the time to look out for their customers, and they find solutions that are the most economical. read more

Went to the store on Harbison Blvd to purchase a motorcycle battery. I had previously researched the battery I needed online and had a price. The person working at this store told me he could not sell it for that price. His price was $40 more. So I left. His attitude was terrible. I went back on line and purchased the battery and paid for it. I checked both stores and online it stated the store in west columbia it was not available. Having paid for it online I went back to the Harbison store to get the battery. When i got there i was told they could give me the battery because i purchased it at the other store. I told him online it stated it was not available at the other store. They did not care. I left and decided I would never go back to that store. I called the other store and i was told yes they had the battery. I went to the West Columbia store and picked up the battery. The sales person there was very helpful and very nice. I guess your website is screwed up for proper information. I will never go back to the Harbison store. read more

Had 5 dead marine batteries that we were prepared to replace. I hate we didn't catch the guy's name, but he graciously checked our batteries and told us to put them on a charger. We had previously tried that, but didn't realize the charger had gone bad. He saved us $500 (had to spend money for a new charger). Super good service. They even have a plan to buy a watch battery and for a little extra you can get watch batteries replaced in that same watch for life! I like these folks. They are glad to see you and polite and professional. The only problem with this location is that it's a litttle tricky to get in their parking lot if you're headed on Two Notch Rd and out of town. It's worth that little inconvenience to be treated as a valuable customer each and every time! read more

They know what they're doing! I brought my laptop in for a new battery because Best Buy said I needed one to fix a malfunction. I highly recommend this place. Customer service is second to none in my opinion. They go over and beyond to help and put the customer needs first thinking long term. I will always do business with them and recommend them! Short story, went in to have phone charging port fixed. Phone stopped charging. Friendly employee took phone went in back came out within 2 minutes handed phone back and said he cleaned the port and it's working fine now. He didn't charge me anything and saved me $89. He very well could have just taken phone and changed the part and charged me the $89. I would have not known. This tells me they put customer first over profit. Well in my opinion they now have me as a long term customer! read more

This was the cheapest place for replacing a cracked screen on an old IPhone 4s. After coupons for making a reservation online & replacing the front and back screen, it cost about $80 with tax. It's around $140 at the Apple store!!! My only qualm is that they forgot to update my repair status online so I had to call to ask if my phone was ready and they apologized saying it had been ready for several days. read more

High praise for the Batteries+ store, which fixed my iPhone for free this morning. My screen froze and wouldn't unfreeze after I pushed the buttons to reboot. I stopped when an alarm buzzed and headed to the store. The guy basically pushed the same buttons as I did, but he had the magic touch. I went in looking for a laptop charger and Matt and Iasha were such wonderful helps! They let me know that the kind of laptop I have could use a USB charger and helped saved me some money. They very helpful and explained what a possible problem was and they willing to help no matter how long it took. Iasha help me reset and completely whip my laptop so that I could just start fresh and I greatly appreciate all the help they proved! Great service. They program car keys and repair cellphones. They change watch batteries. Their guys really know their stuff.

Bought a car battery and they offered free installation. Person working on it broke one of the screws that mounted the battery. They found a bad resolution to temporarily keep it in place but have not resolved the issue by taking the broken screw out. They didn't even offer to cover the expenses for me to get the broken screw out. Do not get your battery replaced by them. THey do not seem experienced with replacing car batteries. read more
