Was having a heck of a time upgrading my phone. Wasn't working online so I went to the store. They couldn't process it in the store either. So Kianna gets on the phone with customer care for almost an hour trying to sort it out. It still didn't go through but I appreciate the effort on her part. Went to see a new phone in person before deciding, the sales people had now idea what the hardware specifications of the phone were (IE: processor, ram, general display resolution, etc). When we asked regarding another phone they were attempting to up sell the sales person we were talking to became very upset and demanded to know why we would be interested in hardware details of the phone. I decided on a phone, only to find out there were none in stock at that store. The sales person would not call any of the surrounding stores. He told me he could begin the transaction and I would need to confirm the purchase when I got home. I decided to purchase the phone from another store who had the phone in stock. When I got home I found the sales person had placed the order without my authorization. I immediately contacted T-Mobile in an attempt to resolve the issue, ensuring the order was cancelled. Four days later I find the transaction posted again to my account. T-Mobile then informed me they would be holding my funds until they received a phone they improperly shipped out. It's now been over a week they have stolen a significant amount of money without so much as an apology for the inconvenience. As a services organization T-Mobile has been great, however a retailer my experience has been horrible. I would recommend avoiding this T-Mobile store and just go to Woodland or West Sacramento. Despite the inconvenience of having to leave town, the sales members at those stores are both knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. read more

Had to go in twice today for a technical problem with my account. The first time I worked with Alfonso, and he was great! Super friendly, asked me lots of questions to try to understand the problem. He was stumped by it, so he called technical support and they were able to work it out together in about 30 minutes. I was really impressed by this experience. Later that day, I had another technical problem. I came back to the store, and this time George tried to help me, and he was very rude and arrogant. When I told him I had a Nexus-model phone, he immediately wrote off my problems to the fact that it was a Nexus and basically told me I would need to call Google for support or get a different phone...without even trying to understand the problem more, or try different things to fix it. I told him this was unacceptable and asked him to try some different things before I left. He silently tapped away on my phone for 30 minutes without telling me what he was trying to do with my phone. In the end, he said he wasn't able to fix it, but he also didn't try calling tech support and he didn't ask me very many questions to explore the problem. He seemed like a really smart kid who presumed that if HE couldn't find an answer, no one could. I was really turned off by this experience. So, one great experience, one awful experience. Seems like it just depends on which employee you get and how invested they feel in helping you out. read more

Two visits. One very good. The other a waste of time. We were looking to switch from Verizon, and the deal (at first) sounded good. But then, second visit, figured out we wouldn't actually save any money (well, I did figure out a way to save $6 per month, but that isn't all that exciting). Seems like it depends who you talk to at this store .... like any other business, I guess. Some great staff, some staff just marking time. read more

As other people below note - BEWARE! This store will mess up your order and then keep your money for weeks! I ordered an iPhone and the clerk swiped my card two times and said that the order did not go through. He then had me call (why do I need the store at all?) and talk to the T-Mobile voice ordering service. I placed the order and asked at the end "the other two orders have been cancelled right?" The person assured me that they were. A few days later - THREE PHONES ARRIVE and they have put THREE CHARGES on my account for one order. OK - mistakes happen. I took two unopened phone back to the store - and they acted like somehow they are not responsible for their own mistake. They REFUSED to immediately credit the money back to my account (two unwanted iPhones on your card is a SIGNIFICANT amount). They didn't even want to take the unopened phones back - saying it was my repsonsibility to return them directly to the UPS if I didn't wnat them - then wait up to 30 days to for my account to be credited. When asked why they were somehow able to charge my immediately but it takes 30 days to FIX THEIR OWN MISTAKE they told me that was "just their policy." Only after complaining in the store for an extended period did they actually agree that they should deal with UPS. They said they would send me an email notice when it went out Monday. It is Monday and I got no such notice from them... I have never experienced a business that claims they have no responsibility to immediately make good on mistaken credit card charges. Excellent store and staff. Went in there just over a week ago because my G3's charging port was not working correctly. The sales reps immediately worked with me to resolve the issue and fixed my phone. Only after solving my problem did they ask if I wanted to use my JUMP privileges to upgrade to the G4. Their reps were very knowledgeable, helpful, and in no way tried to pressure me into the new device. I did end up going with the upgrade and the reps transferred over my pictures, contacts, data from my old phone to my new one on the spot. Throughout my time in the store, I saw the staff able to give undivided attention to each individual, regardless of whether there were 12 or 2 people in the store. Attentive, honest, and respectful staff working here - this store has made a life-long customer. read more

RUDE AND INCOMPETENT! TOOK OVER two hours!!! And now we have NO phones! My husband and I went in tonight, we had already done all of the research online, knew what plan and what phone. We were sent over to Jasmine, we told her right off the bat what we wanted, simple. She still tried to up sell us, every time we declined the upgrade, she acted annoyed and even mad at us. That did not keep her from continuing to try to sell us things we told her we did not want. When I informed her of the phone I wanted, she said they were out of that color and let me know it was inconvenient for her so could I just choose one they had in the store? After 30 minutes, she came up to me again and asked if I could just pick one of the other colors they had in store, otherwise one of the employees might have to drive to another store to pick up my phone. For $450 I should be able to have the color I wanted. Again, I told her 'no'. Then she and another employee talked about us RIGHT in front of us about what plan we chose and they had no clue why we would choose that one. After one hour, she activated our phones to T-mobile. After 10 more minutes she figured out that she was not suppose to do that, she hadn't requested a cancelation from our previous provider. Now we have NO phone service. They said it could take a few days! After more than an hour someone finally came to help us out, apparently Rude Jasmine, who acted annoyed with all questions and acted as if she knew everything, was just a trainee. Why was she not being supervised???? It took us nearly TWO hours to get out of there. We were given cheap little temporary phones, that look like a kid's toy, AND we had to pay a $100 DEPOSIT for them, since we would not have our own phones activated for up to a week. WISH WE HAD NEVER GONE IN THERE.!!!!! read more

After misdiagnosis of our phone ( it was not software rather a bad battery, however the clerk assured ys at time it was software) the technician was unable to transfer all of our personal data to the new warranty phone. We refused this product due to the incompetent ability of the transfer of our personal information to the new phone. After our refusal of product the manager refused to give back our old phone. We were stuck with a phone that had mo personal data and a bad battery...in which case the phone would not work. T MOBILE customer care was appalled by our treatment. My personal recommendation is to not shop here. This is our third bad phone isssue from this location. read more

I went to the store very late in the evening, I needed and new phone and I could not wait. On entering the store two employees, Orion and Satira quickly helped me choosing the right one for me and my needs. I had millions of questions and both of them were very knowledgeable about the options, plans and service. They spent almost one hour with me helping me out, something that is even more exceptional taking into account that it was around 8:30-9:00pm, and they were supposed to close the store at 8:00pm. They were exceptional and extremely nice. I will definitely come back to that store asking for them if I need help or advice. Thank you! read more
