Only once were they not able to completely solve my half dozen problems in twice as many years. And then the tech completely diagnosed my situation, and his prescription, upgrade from Win 95 to Win 98, completely fixed everything. After I graduated from VCU, I needed my own high-speed internet service at home. Access Tech set me up with Clear, which was only down a few hours, during thunderstorms, maybe 3 times in 5 years. Then Clear was bought out by a big cell phone company, that kicked them off their network for more cell service. Now I have hosting for my web comic site through Access Tech, and they even created an updated, improved version of my site for me. Their service has been everything I've ever wanted.

I was called names, mocked and completely disrespected in front of everyone at the store. I was in shock that a manager of a store could be so unprofessional, disrespectful and take no responsibility for their mistakes. At this location be prepared to be lied to and robbed and get horrible service. Then they will direct you to the customer service number when you complain which is a whole department of people who don't care and will do nothing about the harassment and horrible service. I was told my SIM tray had a "previous issue" that prevented activation -- even though the phone was clearly reading the SIM. I drove all the way to Short Pump (Apple Store) based on that information. Nothing was wrong with my phone or the SIM tray. Two hours later, an escalated 800‑Verizon support rep had my phone fully operational over the phone with basic troubleshooting. I don't appreciate having my time wasted or being given inaccurate information. I'm giving 3 stars because I do believe the staff try, but it feels like their primary objective is selling, not service. That may work for most customers, but I'm not most customers.
