He loved a smell from another candle place but refused to return because how strong the smell was. When we walked in we were greeted and asked what we were looking for. The gentleman that assisted us immediately found a couple candles, which would have been enough, but he also brought us to a table in which they had a new scent. The scent was perfect. They had not yet named it so they were nice enough to print us a custom label. There was also a young man there starting his own line of body butters and scrubs, TMOORE CREATIONS. It was not difficult to support this young entrepreneur as there were a few different scents and we ended up getting the cotton candy scrub. We also made sure to scan their QR to keep updated because the entire experience was great. Oh and I even found out they do candle making parties. If you are looking for a way to get people together for a custome event, think of this.

The intention behind this experience is good, but unfortunately, the overall experience was…read moreunderwhelming. We booked the candle-making session as a couple and were assisted by two young women who unfortunately did not seem very welcoming or engaged. During our session, they had personal conversations directly in front of us, including comments about how they did not want to be there. That made the experience feel uncomfortable and unprofessional. For the cost, I also expected a more extensive candle-making experience with a larger variety of options and scents to choose from. The selection felt very limited for the price. The music was definitely the best part of the experience and created a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not return.

Last night,…read morewhile looking for online sales on Judy Blue jeans - and was excited to find one at a small business (I'm a small business owner myself!) in my home state. After this listed coupon code (see photo) didn't work, I reached out with a friendly DM via IG for assistance. The following morning, an employee reached out to me and was curt from the start. Rather than offering a solution or customer service - she took the opportunity to make me feel dumb for inquiring and then use my information to fix a "tech issue" and remove the code advertisement. I get that the jeans were not supposed to be on sale. However, there is absolutely a way to relay that information differently. An "oh my goodness - I am so sorry that happened - and I understand how disappointing that must be as a customer, but ... (fill in the blank)" would have gone a LONG way. Personally, if it were my business, I would have honored the listed code for one item simply to retain the customer. Two stars (rather than one) because she wasn't overtly rude - just curt and a bit condescending.
