This review is aimed more at T-Mobile's customer service and not at the representative that greeted us in the store. We are simply trying to get T-Mobile to provide us with a transfer ID number and have been on the phone with them for over two hours. Since we are at the Cerritos shopping center there was a T-Mobile location and we decided to pay it a visit. Thinking that they could help us Complete a simple task of getting an ID transfer number. We were greeted by Hellen. She was helpful because she explained to us that it wouldn't matter if a retail store called T-Mobile customer service or we call T-Mobile customer service. The wait time would be the same. What a shame. Needless to say it's been 2 1/2 hours and we still have not been able to accomplish this simple task with T-Mobile. I've had a prior experience with T-Mobile and their customer service, it wasn't good either, this was their second chance and they fail failed. I strongly recommend not buying anything from t-mobile. while the staff in the store seem nice, they will sell you plans and services that are either lies or bait and switch. One example is that when we signed up for a plan, they included a free phone upgrade. However after the first bill we were being charged. it too about 12 calls and four months to resolve, at which point we ended up getting credits at the end of our contract because they are too garbage to refund. Another example we returned out 5G gateway be as the service was terrible, Even though they confirmed receipt they are unable to find the devices in their facilities. Another dozen calls, $250 added to our bill , and nobody competent or concerned enough to resolve the issue. If you love mediocre service, being over charged, and consistently lied to, this is the place to go. Otherwise I strongly recommend you visit a Verizon or ATT store before getting locked into a contact with these abusers. read more

Where do I start... Every time I've come to this T-Mobile, the team here has always been ready to help and clearly know their stuff. They've answered every question I've had and made the whole process easy. This time I had the pleasure of getting a great deal for me and my family--picked up the new iPhone 16 Pro and added a new line at a price I'm really happy with. We had a worker by the name Miriam help my family. She was rude and not helpful. We were dissatisfied with the service as we received a lot of attitude and a lot of loud sighing unprovoked. She had made a mistake when transferring my phone number and when pointed out I received a lot of attitude and was dismissed and she left before she could fix the problem. Eventually we had a worker named Adrian who was incredibly helpful and assisted us in a kind manner. read more

D'Carri helped me set up my internet while in the store. He explained everything about the internet in a way that I, an older lady, could understand. He was thorough about what to do once I got home. Stepped in and already felt the rudeness of the workers. When it was my turn to sign in, the worker asked what I need help with. I had a difficult problem to deal with so it was a lot to explain. Mid explanation, he cuts me off because another coworker goes "can you sign them in for me?" talking about the people behind me. um.. hello?? A customer is talking to him. Then the worker goes "Oh, after you help these people." Obviously he's going to help the people behind me when he's done so why do you have to interrupt me to prioritize people behind me? So then, I try to continue my story, and he cuts me off again telling me to slow down. Excuse me? I told you it was a long story and it seems like you're in a rush to get through and sign me in, and now you want to interrupt me again??? I wasn't even talking that fast. It was just a long complicated story with a lot of details, but he clearly wasn't paying close attention to me if he needed me to slow down. Don't come here. You'll get no attention or help. I can not explain how bad we got screwed over at this store. We sat down and the girl went through the plans, . She said we could finance 4 phones but we would have to pay off our devices with Verizon. So as we were there in the store , we called Verizon and paid the $800 we owed for the 4 phones. She took off our screen protectors to assess any damages on our phones (there was none) When it came time to sign the contract she said that T-mobile has a maximum to fianace and it would only cover 2 phones. We would have to but the other 2. My credit score is 825 so credit was not an issue. After just buying off the 4 phones I was not about to then buy 2 more, especially because this was not told up front. So we walked out (minus our screen protectors) I just called Verizon. If I had waited until August to pay off my phones it would have been a total of $105! T-mobile really screwed us over. We were told one thing, followed the directions of the sales associate, walked out without new phones and service, and ended up paying way more money for absolutely nothing. Either this sales associate doesn't know her job and needs to be fired or retrained or T-mobile's policy and customer service is a joke! read more

I was thinking about getting an Apple Watch for fitness tracking and monitoring but I don't really like waiting for things in the mail. Went to the store at the Cerritos Mall and was helped by Angela. She helped me out to understand the bill credits on the current special and helped me get a slightly larger watch face size for only a small amount more monthly, so I am only paying the line charge plus about $1.25 for the device after the bill credit. She also had me in and out of the store in under a half hour and walked me through the device setup and activation. I definitely recommend going to this location. I was in a dire situation with my iPhone having an issue connecting to my network or any other network. After 5 appointments with Apple, although, I was not with T-Mobile, I went in their store where Sophia greeted me warmly, listened to my every word of what I had been through with the phone, and she suggested it was locked by my carrier. She went online, submitted the request to unlock, and within hours my phone was working again! (Long story short) She and her teammate were great in resolving my issue, even though I am not currently with T-Mobile. I had to get service with Mint Mobile, because it is cheap, which suited my situation at the time. The end of my 6 month prepaid with Mint Mobile (2 more months) I'm going to T-Mobile! Long story short: Couldn't wait for the note 8 because my note 4 kept shutting off, opted for a GS8+ from Amazon not realizing it required a nano simcard... Fustrated that I didn't do enough research on how to obtain this nano simcard, the cost and how to install... I headed over to cerritos T-mobile store. The cheerful person working the counter this morning was more than helpful. Not only did she setup my new phone right on the spot with the new nano simcard, but made sure all the settings for the 4g LTE was working and was offered the nano simcard for FREE!! I used to patronize this store; in fact: both of the phones that I own came from here as did the previous generation before those two. But things have changed. Today I arrived after work with 4 employees on the floor and a dozen customers. 45 minutes later with 2 employees left on the floor and still a couple of families in front of me: one of the sales people took a couple of cute young guys who came in after me ahead of all of us. Figured that I was destined to spend at least another hour here at that rate, so I walked out. I came, I saw, I waited and wasted the better part of an hour and I walked out. Probably picked a bad day: but whoever is deciding to send half of the staff on breaks during over an hour wait time is sure to send my business elsewhere. Mediocre service providers cannot afford shabby store service when I can simply go online and get the same products for LESS MONEY elsewhere. read more

I arrived at 8:40 to fix a simple issue. After waiting 20 minutes the girl there started kicking everyone out by saying "we won't be able to help you we're closed." Then as soon as I opened my mouth to ask a question she stopped me by saying "we're closed". She continued talk over me and repeat "we're closed" . SUPER SKETCHY! The rep added "perks" secretly. The t mobile rep that helped my parents signed up, secretly added things like lines and 4g lte hotspot without telling them. We decided to get my parents new phones for Xmas and since tmobile had a good deal during Black Friday, my sister took them here to sign my parents up. We got the buy one iphone 8, get one iphone8 free deal. We also signed my parents up for the tmobile one for 55+ Plan. All seemed good for now. Fast forward one month, we get the bill and its 20 bucks over what we expected. My sister called and found out the rep signed them up for the 4g lte hotspot (their plan came with 3g hotspot free). My parents barely know how to use their iPhones... why would they need a 4g hotspot?? The rep had credited $20 for the first month, which is why we did not catch this when we signed up. Also, the rep signed them up for 2 extra lines that are free for the first 3 months. So if we did not call about the extra $20 now, we would have found out new charges in another 2 months only. This is super sketchy, especially if we didn't check out bill closely! MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR CONTRACT AND BILL! You might not know you signed up for some "perks". This makes me feel they were taking advantage of my parents... Im super unhappy. read more

If you are a T-Mobile customer and happen to be in the Cerritos Mall, then I suggest going to the T-Mobile kiosk right across from the See's Candy store. It is conveniently located by the "Red Robin" and "Citibank" front entrance of the mall. My customer representative was Michael and he was so nice and helpful. I was looking into buying accessories for the "My Touch" phone and found the "My Touch 3G Lifestyle Music" player. It was a small speaker system that could play music from my phone and was attached to a portable carrying case. I chose the blue case and purchased it for $39.99. I was so happy to find something that would play my MP3 downloads and didn't cost me a fortune. However, when I went home to try my new battery operated speaker system, it didn't work. The music was all muffled and I could have sworn that it was defective. So the next day, I took it back to Michael at the T-Mobile kiosk and wanted to refund this item. After playing around with the device, I purchased a new set of batteries at a nearby toy store and placed them into the speaker system. With the flip of the switch it was working! I guess I put batteries prior that were not fully charged and the device was not defective after all. I felt like a techno-tard and thanked them for their patience. I guess the moral is, if you think there is something wrong with an item you purchased at this T-mobile kiosk, take it back, have them take a look at it, and if all else fails, buy new batteries! read more

Outstanding customer service! I took my daughter in looking for information regarding her "Apple" phone repair. The Apple Store in the same Mall was overbooked and we didn't have an appointment. I purchased the IPhone at a T Mobile store a little over a year ago and along with Apple Care we also have the phone insured through Assurant. The Ladies were so helpful in assisting us to rectify the issue. During the timewe were in the store I decided to get a new phone for myself. I was assisted by "Lenny Zaragoza" and boy was she helpful! She walked me through several phones to fit my needs because I'm not too "electronically saavy" and didn't know the difference from 4G to 5G to a hole in the wall! LOL! Lenny taught me so much. She was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I hate that I didn't get the other young lady who was there with her name because they both were the same in professionalism. We have been with Tmobile for over 10 years and I can say that we are pleased to have found a knowledgable associate that helped us with all aspects. We had so many questions and she was honest and genuine! Her name is Kaitlyn and this is the kiosk that is across from Red Robin well soon to be PF Chang's. I recommend her for any questions and answers. We upgraded our iPhone16gb 6s plus to the new 7plus and didn't even feel remorseful after "jumping" we had to pay off some of our phone off to be able to jump but WTH is 16gb come on APPLE.
