Can't recommend this store. Make sure you read all the paperwork and don't sign anything that doesn't look totally correct. The salesperson told us that there was no charge for several accessories when actually the price was rolled into the monthly bill. For some reason we ended up with 3 trackers (that we don't need) that were "free" but we are paying monthly for their service. He told us that the bill would be messed up for the first couple of months so we waited until the third month to question the charges. By then however, they told us it was too late to make any changes. The manager then told me that since we signed the agreement there is nothing she can do. We were foolish to trust him. Don't make the same mistake. I have since added on services directly with t-mobile online and had no problem. There is really no reason to go to the store. read more

Was very suspenseful and dark. Definitely an edge of your seat kind of experience. The sales reps were extremely comforting and the phones are all cheap. Even the expensive ones. I would recommend you bring in your phone if you want to buy a new case though. Otherwise you could forget which kind of phone case you even need. Then you might get really embarrassed like me and trip on the metal part on the bottom of the door on the way out. I'm not sure if EV charging is available in the area. read more

Idiots! I should have known better as last time I was there they were so unknowable and still are and now with a bad attitude! I was told they could not return a phone I had ordered and Chicago that was brand new just delivered today still in the box. I had all the receipts that invoice etc. he told me to call customer service because I cannot return to the store even though customer service I had already previously told me I can return it at any store. I called customer service they more or less said they apologize for the guy because he has no idea what he's talking about and I have all the info he needed to return it! It's funny because I know a lot of people avoid this particular store because of such unknowledgeable employees. Last year when I was in there was a guy who said he had just started that day and his manager left for lunch and was still gone after couple hours and the poor guy was so nice but had no idea what he was doing! I came in with my boyfriend to have his phone switched into a 5G network even though his phone is 4g because the speed of his network is slow and the guy we talked to told us we couldn't when we had been in the previous week and already talked to another member who was happy to, after getting no where with this worker he then says we can PAY for a new SIM card when it is a free service. I have been a t-mobile customer for well over 10 years with no issues. But this store is the WORST! They don't carry most items, the sales guys have no clue, etc. I went in on Aug 15th 2019 to pay off a phone after doing the lease thing for almost 2 years. I was told I could pay off the balance of $232 or continue the lease for another 9 months at $30. I said no and took the cash in to pay it off. The 3 sales guys had no clue how to do that-they kept asking each other and calling some number. Finally they said OK here it is, here is your receipt. I thought they did it. Well now it turns out they only put the money towards my bill, which is on auto pay. Why in the heck would I come in and pay cash on my bill when it is done on auto pay? I checked my bill today just to see what it showed and they are still charging me the lease payments for the next 8 months. I contacted their online customer service and was told they took my cash but applied it to the overall bill. I demanded they fix it and was told they could refund it but then I am stuck paying late fees and all. I said NO, you screwed up, not me. They told me I have to go into the store and MAYBE they can fix it. MAYBE!!! I know the guys at the washington square mall location actually know more so I am going there. Don't ever go to the store on Barrows. They are idiots and now I have to take time out of my day to try and fix their mistake. I told the customer service guy I will get my lawyer involved in need be. This is ridiculous. I better not get charged any late fees or anything extra due to their stupidity. Don't go to this T Mobile. Rip off salespeople. Jane or Jayne does not know what she is doing. Just because all I wanted was to activate my existing sim card mailed to me by Customer Service, she disconnects my other line when she realized she was not getting a commission. I told her to correct this and she just ignored me and wanted me to leave the store. Jane is incompetent and very rude. Before that a sales rep, Trent, lied to me about getting a free sim card for life for my ipad to access the internet. Told him my ipad does not take a sim card. He was pushy and kept saying it was a special promotion for people to try for free. I figured okay just to get him off me. Later I found out I was being charged $10 per month for something I did not use. I cancelled this and customer service fixed this bad experience. The worst is Jane or Jayne. This girl should be fired. You can't get any dumber. Stay away. read more

Beware! I shopped at this T-Mobile location to get an extra phone and line for my son. The customer service was okay, I didn't have to wait long but I remember she was quite a young gal and my impression with the whole transaction was okay as far as I remembered. Fast forward 4 months, I knew I wasn't getting paper statements anymore, and at first I thought I just missed few of them, but dawned on me it's been 4 months since receiving my last statement. To my shock, I thought the bill was a bit higher than what I am supposed to be charged. Took me another month to finally sit at my computer and look into my statement through the website. To my dismay, I saw that I was charged a $20 monthly fee for 5GB of data which I absolutely did not upgrade to! And it was attached to my son's phone number. I would never have bought my 13 yr-old so much data in the first place and even if I did it wouldn't have been for him and not myself! NOT happy! I dug up my receipt from that day and nowhere in the receipt said that I am getting the $20 5GB per month. Talk about unethical! This can't be a mistake because we never even discussed upgrading to a bigger data plan. This has to be added to my account knowingly. I called T-Mobile today and the rep can only give me back 50% of the charges from the last 4 months. Did I say NOT HAPPY???? Be very careful when you buy a plan and make sure you read and go over every little charges with the sales rep! read more

Absolutely the worst sales people. They lie consistently. I was told when I ordered the new 7 that I would get it the day it came out even though the print out had november delivery... All lies... Then we stood in line a week later, and asked for the new 7 and they let people stand in line for 2 hours and then came and told us they had only 3 phones Then one of them came and said they had none. Then the first guy said the 3 were spoken for to the guy behind us in line because he was an employee -which is totally not allowed- . When I asked for a managers name one of them claimed he was the manager. When I asked for his name, he refused and closed the door. A complete sham.. a disgrace to all t-moblile stores... When I called 611 and complained they said they will call the store but I told them it's like calling the cell phone of a bank robber and asking if he's robbing the bank. When you call the store it's the same kids that answer the phone claiming the manager stepped out. It's unbelievable how bad they are... The worst thing is these guys take your social security numbers and credit card numbers , I wouldn't want any of my personal info handled by these guy. Any T-Moble store would be better.. read more
