We were interested in asking about T-Mobile's services as we were interested in switching providers and had a lot of questions. So we went to the closest T-Mobile retail store... The one on York Road above Gittings Avenue and next to Wells. We were greeted very kindly by the manager and the two sales associates. The T-Mobile packages were explained clearly and they answered our other questions. We explained that we would go home and assess the T-Mobile services vs our existing providers ... They graciously understood... We went home with compared the services and what we needed. We returned the next day and transitioned to T-Mobile and upgraded our phones. As is often the case, when you transition to new phones & providers, you can have a few hiccups...We reached out to them and found that they were incredibly helpful during the entire process. My husband & I would highly recommend this group ... It is so nice to find competent people who offer intelligent support and are extra helpful, it was a excellent experience! This is the 3rd time I have been locked out of my phone, and password confusion that's meant days without service, and hours in your Phone Store - faced with risks that include loss of Data or buying a new phone. I chose the latter, but inherited the same problem! Phone is locked. Snow storm. Local T-Mobile Store CLOSED! I cannot use the phone, am 81 y/o and live alone. I just stopped in for T-Mobile Tuesday to pick up a canvas cooler bag. It was no hassle at all. I walked right in and told the employee why I was there. New manager saved this store! A few weeks ago I went into this store and left in complete disgust. I decided to give it a second chance with the new iPhone deals. Apparently in that time a new manager came in. The difference is night and day, complete 180! I felt comfortable enough to switch to T-Mobile after being on the fence for over a year. If you were recently disappointed by this store or any Tmobile store, go back and speak to Brooke. She will take care of you. Best Tmobile/Sprint store I've been to in 15 years. read more

I've been to this Tmobile before when I got my Note 5. The staff was friendly and helpful. They answered all of my questions and even put on my screen protector when I purchased it with the phone. Fast forward to yesterday... I came to upgrade my phone. As soon as I came in, I knew that this experience would be different from the first. For starters, it was a different staff, which was completely fine and expected, but there were at least 4 sales people standing around the counter doing absolutely nothing. They weren't interacting with customers very much. There was also a lady who wasn't an employee behind the counter. I was helped very quickly and the staff member who processed my order was nice and all but if you are supposed to be helping me, why are you still carrying on a conversation with your coworkers? The conversation was somewhat inappropriate and they dropped the "n" word plenty of times. This area is frequented by a very diverse group of people and I'm pretty sure someone would find it offensive. They also had music blasting in the store with foul language. I wasn't offended but it's not professional and customers who bring their children inside the store would probably be uncomfortable. And to make it all worst, the store manager was there joining in on the conversation. Yes, you should have a little fun at work, but when you are in front of customers, you need to be professional. On April 19, 2022 I went to the T-Mobile store on 6308 York Rd, Baltimore, MD 21212, to buy a new phone. When I talk to the representative working there he pointed me to the OnePlus 9 phone and told me it was only $99 and that was it. I bought the phone thinking I already paid in full but the next bill cycle came and I see that they are charging me $700 for the phone. When I called they lied and said I signed a contract but when I asked for them to send it they couldn't produce one. I was advised to go back to the vendor who sold me the phone to get the contract that they say I signed but when I did they also didn't see a contract. When I kept pressing for them to send me a contract they decided to send me a document dated April 19 2022 on it but with the signature of another person on my account ( this person who was on the phone with me at the time did not buy anything from them that day or that month) when I confronted them about it they send me the same document with the name of someone who is no longer associated with my account. After the manager of the location agreed to give me a $40 credit each month but after he left they stopped giving me the credit. I call again and they agree to pay $404.15 off of my phone but again they were misleading me. The credit went to the balance on my account not the phone. T-Mobile has yet again failed to uphold the promises of their representatives and vendor. I have been calling every month since June and this issue is still ongoing. I will be sure to tell everyone I meet my experience when T-Mobile and the representatives. I will also never sign anything with them since they like to play with peoples signatures. read more
