The rep was very professional and cordial. The rep attempted to get my phone up and running, I was told that the mother board in my phone was corrupt. I do recall downloading an app call Eat Around Town. After a day, I noticed that my phone was acting up. I am not saying that the app corrupted my phone but at the same time, I am not counting it out. While I was there for about one and a half hour with no positive results, I was informed about every step and process that they took with a final word of "I need a new phone." At least everyone in uBreakiFix was getting along with each other and the representative control the crowd with laughter and stories. It made for a less stressful situation. I was not the only PO person who had problems with downloading apps, but I was the only one that had to get a new phone. They tried to fix it but it just did not happen.... Inspire more, Yelp more!

The first was replacement of a cracked screen for my daughter's Samsung Galaxy phone. Took a couple of hours and the price was right. No problems with the phone afterwards. The quoted was the price we paid. This week, I walked in to see if Power Button stocked replacement batteries for the Google Pixel 2, the phone I've been using for the past two years. The battery needed to be ordered, so I paid a $10 deposit and agreed to come back in three or four days for the repair. Once the battery arrived, the fix took about two or three hours, and cost $60, parts and labor. The two brothers who run this shop are hard workers and very customer oriented. The store is open Saturday evenings until 8. Closed on Sundays.

It used to be a sort of unfriendly experience and the people behind the counter had a take-it-or-leave-it attitude which usually meant I left because they didn't have a part I was looking for. But my most recent experiences there have been a lot better. The guy who helped me buy a replacement charger for my laptop offered me a bunch of different options and because the only power cable that fit my device was a bit damaged, he fixed/improved it free of charge. I came back the next day with an old external hard drive with a cracked case and he opened the case and gave me a bunch of different options for replacing it, buying a new power supply to see how it worked, and so on. He took his time to find genuine solutions for me that didn't cost an arm or a leg. They also have an internet cafe (meaning public computer access, not coffee and tea) there now so people can print stuff out and check their email. I'm very happy to have this place around the corner from me. No more schlepping into Manhattan for parts or repairs!

He is very knowledgable and he took the time to get me all the discounts I was eligible for and explain everything in detail. There was an issue with porting 1 of my lines and he spent more than an hour speaking to customer service to get the issue resolved. In fact, he stayed after work to make sure that my line was activated ASAP.
