Finding the store front along an outdoor walkway in Alderwood Mall was streamlined. Music outside the entrance/exit helped set an upbeat vibe upon entry/exit. Upon entry to the store I was greeted by a friendly worker. Music played quietly for the duration of my visit and I was not interrupted by other patrons nor workers while looking at the devices. After entry, I made my way to the computers area to look at what was on display. Desktop options were on display with corresponding keyboard and computer mouse technology. Laptops were on display by make (Air and Pro). Each make had varied laptops on display to highlight different size screens and different finishes (silver/metal and black). Clicking on the trackpad awakened the device and basic features were available to access/explore. I found my experience on the whole to be welcoming.

Upon entry to the store, I was greeted by a friendly worker who said it was okay for me to look at the phones on display and helpfully directed me to where the Samsung Galaxy models and iPhone models were on display. My device at the time of the visit was an iPhone Xs that is still working well, so I was interested which models were closest to what I had. With Samsung, it turned out to be the Samsung Galaxy S25 and with the iPhone (15 thru 17 were on display) it turned out to be the iPhone 16e. Both were a little bit taller than my Xs and about the same width. The display set-up allowed me to pick each device up and look at the front and back. I preferred the single camera circle of the 16e to the three camera circles of the S25. The devices could also be explored operationally. Since I use my phone a fair amount for photos and videos, I explored the video/camera mode on each. I found the zoom to be ever so perceptibly slower with the Samsung than the iPhone, both were quick though. Prices for the different devices and different storage space capacities were communicated by each phone model I explored. All around I had an enjoyable experience and greatly appreciated being able to see/explore different phone options in-person.

She helped my aunts with transferring their number and getting them onto my account. Then she helped us all (me, my wife, and my 2 aunts) in getting smart watches, linking them up to the right phones, and never showed any frustrations or annoyances. Knocked it out of the park! I'll definitely go here as long as they're there.

I just got a new phone & I'm on the prepaid plan. e-SIM didn't work so i couldn't transfer my phone number over from home. I went to this T-Mobile location to get a QR code & was told by the associate manager (AM) that since I was on the prepaid plan, she couldn't help me & I needed to call customer service. I mentioned to her that I lived in a bad cell service area, and if I could make the call from inside the store. She told me that I could go outside instead and make the call from my car. I looked around... We were the only ones here and I was the only one who had my mask on. Maybe she could still smell my coffee breath? So, e-SIM didn't work, going into the store didn't work, and now I can't make the call from inside the store? Guess the store is here to just look pretty? Anyway, I told her this should be feedback to corporate about the inefficiencies of this process. And I was fed back with "I can only do so much". Inspiring attitude... worthy of a TED talk! Said no one in the empty T-Mobile store. So I got into my car called T-Mobile Customer Service & explained my issue. The rep was baffled on why I couldn't make the call from inside the store, because I needed Wi-Fi to get my phone # activated on my new phone. So reluctantly, I went back into the store again, AM told the other employee to come out with her.. guess it takes 3 T-Mobile reps now... or she needed the muscle, or it was my coffee breath from behind my mask... not sure. But the 3rd employee was asking me why I was on the prepaid plan. I guess my answer didn't please her, because she just stared at me... no smile, not even moving.., nothing. It was like watching a system freeze in front of me... I thought I broke her! AM even said nothing could really beat my plan, but then she tried to sell me on upgrading to the international plan. Talked about how I could do free messaging, payment plan would be all set up, etc.... I guess wearing makeup makes me look well-traveled? It was sooo awkward being in there & at that point, I thought I would rather get my eyelashes plucked than spend any more time in that store with these two employees. The catitide (cat + attitude) unfriendly customer service, certain tech skills that were lacking (which can be easily forgiven, had the experience been more pleasant) made this store trip strange & uncomfortable.... I'll drive the extra miles and go to the one in Shoreline next time!

Batttery life, camera and operating system are fantastic! Highly recommend. -SCREEN PROTECTOR GET THE ZAGG SCREEN, it's $60 but worth every penny. It has 40% blue light reduction. At the store they were verbally selling me on this and I didn't know if it was a gimmick or would work. I am so happy I got this, my eyes don't get strained at night anymore and I don't have to wear my readers -CELLULAR SERVICE I noticed the voice when calling isn't as good as Sprint. This could be the new iPhone? Or just T-mobile towers? I don't know but the voice is just a little washed out and tinny. I rarely make phone calls anyways so I really don't care. -T-MOBILE 5G Holy cow!!! T-Mobile's 5G is amazing!! 330mbps to my phone and 70-80 hotspot at my house. My Comcast internet is 130. Out in the boonies at my parents house it's 50mbps which is still pretty good. -T MOBILE HOME INTERNET Long story but went to get it, can't yet but my situation was pretty unique. As soon as my sprint credit is used up and I'm switched over to T-Mobile in 2-7 month I'm getting it. $50 for the tower (hardware) and flat $50 a month for 300-800 mbps of internet. By by Comcast. You've frustrated me for the last time. -CUSTOMER SERVICE Muhamed helped me who was great and I also dealt with Ryan who was top notch. He's the manager at the other Lynnwood store that's getting renovated and temporarily at this mall location. The guy knows his stuff. -YOUTUBE TV I got the YouTube TV promotion $10 off for 12 months, after being bent over the barrel by Comcast and DIRECTV for so long I absolutely love YouTube TV and would never go back. It's month to month, no incompetent customer service, just easy tv. Highly recommend! I also bought TMobile's remote and dongle for streaming services. It is great, easy to use, I prefer it over Google chrome cast for TV which my parents have. (Both are run by google) T-Mobile's unit has 40 app capacity vs 12, newer chip and the remote is easier to handle. This is only for TV's that aren't smart, I just use my Samsung smart tv remote upstairs and it works great for YouTube TV. All in all I'm loving T-Mobile so far. My parents are about to switch over from Verizon and I would Recommend anyone thinking about switching over to T-Mobile to just do it

But when I called the store, I was very disappointed. A young woman answered at about 11 a.m. I didn't understand when she said her first name due to the phone connection. I asked if she could help me with the spelling so I'd know who to ask for when I came to sign up. She grew very rude and refused to tell me. She demanded that I travel all the way to the store to learn her first name. I am retired after teaching overseas and I speak a few languages. I don't know if she is sensitive about a cultural issue. Nevertheless, her rudness during my first contact with Cricket did not make a positive impression for Cricket or make me want to become a customer. If staff refuse to clearly share their names, how can managers be alerted about a need for staff training? I sent an email to Ms. C. Brown in Cricket administration to ask for help and a reply. I didn't receive any help or any reply. The employee's rudeness, and administrator's not replying, persuaded me to choose a different phone service.
