With that said, Freddie was awesome! He was training another employee while helping customers, and was obviously a little short-staffed. After their system came up, they helped me find the best phone for my needs, and did a great job of getting everything switched over to the new phone. During the whole experience, Freddie was always knowledgeable and efficient with setup and transfer, and he did a great job of getting me out the door with my new phone -- even while training his apprentice. I went back in and they made me pay for the replacement screen protector. They don't offer refunds so exchanged for a different case (even though I hated all of the other cases) and it's doing the exact same thing. So basically paid $60 to have to pay $10 a week to get my screen protector replaced because it gets so dusty. Also very hard to push buttons on the touch screen in upper left and right corners because of how it bubbles.

I ordered with 2-day shipping to make sure I got what I needed in time. I confirmed that what I needed was in stock, though there was a part of my order which was low priority for me which was backordered. When it got to be 2 days before without any confirmation or note regarding shipping, I contacted their customer service to follow up. After getting past the required referring me to the order status link, which I had already told them shows pending but no other information, then telling me that the order was pending, where I again asked for more information, I was finally informed that the individual warehouse has a policy (contrary to what was explicitly stated on the company website) that they will not ship out an order unless all products on that order are in hand. Luckily, Amazon had the product I needed in stock and was able to deliver the next day, so I requested my pending order be cancelled. (I was, of course, informed that they could request the cancellation, but that it could not be guaranteed.) On the other hand, I would definitely recommend the in store locations. I found the staff there courteous and helpful. I definitely intend to shop there again.

One of the major Northwest based department store chains before the Walmarts started taking over,…read moreI'm proud to see Bi-Mart is still afloat after all of these years. The regular theme at any Bi-Mart is maximizing the value for all the products they carry, which is a fancy way of simply noting that everything is supposedly affordable. And for the most part, things are definitely on the cheaper end. I've long forgotten that Bi-Mart is also a membership driven company, which in turn means additional savings for anyone who is a member. How much does that cost? A lifetime membership is $5. Yes, really. I'm usually in here scouring for TJ Maxx type stuff -- which revolves around home furnishings and gifts. I've never been too thrilled about the lines of clothing they feature or the electronics they have on display. I personally think they excel in hardware and health care, which for the latter is kind of nice if one has a prescription filled here. I've been able to find some really quality power tools and specific gadgets for everything from lawn & garden to electrical stuff. While I appreciate the antiquated charm of the place (it really hasn't updated much, or it appears to look like a store from decades before), I can't help but say they could use a better staff around here. I haven't found much help in locating certain items and I find that the attitude of many employees here is lacking. I usually end up calling while I'm in the store to see if they carry something and where I can find it. Their parking lot is huge and it's never too crowded here. They do have sales of course all the time, but even those targeted savings aren't enough to get a Black Friday type crowd in here. I would tend to call that a good thing.
