My experience and time spent exploring this Best Buy in my boyfriend's home town was delightful for…read morethe most part. We went in the store knowing exactly what we wanted, so we didn't really need an associate's help. However, none of the associated offered help while we were roaming around the store. Which is usually fine if we knew where what we were looking for is located, but we didn't so we ended up just walking in circles before finding the ancillary computer accessories sections located in the back near closer to the TV section. Additionally, we lingered in this section contemplating on which wireless mouse to get. Although, we had our eye on the one that we ultimately got. Again, some assistance in picking one may have been appreciated at this point. Since we were passing through town and knew what we wanted, the experience was good. I can see how someone else who may need assistance may end up leaving without purchasing anything. The check out experience was fairly standard, and it was the first interaction with an associate, but I guess better the cashier first than the security guard who'll check purchases before you leave.

Seriously, I thought I'd find a few vitamins and mineral supplements and maybe a protein drink mix or two. When I first walked in, that's really all I saw until I started browsing. I was looking for a specific organic skin lotion I was pretty certain I wouldn't find, but did. I found that and a lot more. In fact, there's something in nearly every category where you'd want -- organic or natural. It's really a full-service health store, with all of the usual, plus organic and whole foods, some locally grown. There were brands I hadn't seen before and some I had only seen in mail-order places. In fact, I saw a mineral makeup brand I had a hard time finding outside a doctors office or getting via mail-order. I ended up discussing some options with the person working and she was able to give me enough background on the products that I ended up staying with my first choice. But at least I was given a choice, unlike some places like this.

Me: Who is your store manager. Sam: I am Me: Wow, you are the store manager. Sam: Yes, have a nice day I would not recommend this store. I will not be frequenting this Barnes and Noble in the future, as I have better options where the customer is still treated with respect.
