The promotion never got applied to my account and i Was charged full price for the phone. I called the store and a representative told me I would be called back. That never happened so I went into the store. The representative who previously helped me was no longer employed there. The employee who was there could not help me. She offered to send a text to her boss but she could not resolve the issue herself. She couldn't even retrieve the details of my purchase/phone upgrade. I then spent 30 minutes on the phone with a Verizon rep. It's still not clear if I will receive the promotion that the store told me I was receiving. My advice is to get your promotional offer in writing from the store as it is clear they are not competent in completing the transaction.

Luckily, I was still in Durango and not yet incommunicado in the shadow of Lizard Head Peak. I waited for the AT&T doors to open at a civilized 10 AM. This office proved its efficiency and competency in waves of Ta-Da moments. I abandoned Apple for a fancy Samsung android. And a most educated, personable staffer gave me encouragement as well as an orientation on my fast selection, as well as a hand written breakdown of comparative costs. While my contacts fled the old iphone to live in my new phone, I got to know my accomplished customer service rep a little better through conversation and his showing of a few family pics. He could have just as easily left me to twirl weirdly alone on the lily pad stools during the download. Thanks for the info, the quick support, and attentive hospitality, Durango.
