I needed a specific Lenovo charger for my laptop, and I needed it asap. I got there and a large dog raised its head to look at me as I was smacked in the face with the smell of marijuana. Not a big deal, I thought. I looked through a box of chargers and found the exact one I needed. I was stoked. When Shawn went to ring it up, it was $65. Are you kidding me? This charger goes for $32 brand new on the Lenovo website! I asked if he could do anything about the price and he said he'd have to talk to his manager. He went behind a wall, to talk with some woman who's head I could see the top of through a window, and they talked a bit. He came back, essentially said that it was a lot more expensive than he expected too but the owner is firm on pricing. I thanked him for his help and left. I have no problem with Shawn, he was just doing his job. But the lady behind the wall and the owner? Are you serious? How do you justify selling a used laptop charger for twice the price of it brand new? Why did you not come talk to my face instead of making Shawn, who already has a queue of phone screens to fix, run around your store? The worst part is, people have to pay these prices because it is a small town and there's nowhere else to go. Here I am trying to support local businesses and being forced to buy from the colossal corporate dome that is Bezos' shaved head. Absolutely ridiculous.

A professional job and they showed us how everything worked - in terms we could understand. Very patient. A year later I evidentially pushed the wrong button on the remote and we suddenly had no video. Sound on the TV but no video. I thought the amp was a problem. Took it in and they immediately saw that I had pushed the button that changed the video feed - go figure. No charge. I went back home and reinstalled the amp, followed their suggestions, and it works perfect. They treated me super nice and were understanding. What a pleasure. When the TV itself craps out, we will buy the new one from Louisa's - the best. As a bonus - they take Covid19 seriously - masks, etc. - a total professional audio/visual shop.

With GPS in hand I walked up, and down Main street several times because my GPS kept saying I was at my destination. Umm No I don't think so. I finally had to ask a local how to find the shop. (It is actually One Street East of Main Street. I don't know why GPS didn't get it right the first time...) Social distancing was strictly enforced, 6 ft apart with masks. Lots of different products to peruse. I didn't look around as there was a long line waiting to go into the individual rooms, and I didn't want to loose my place in line. When it was finally my turn I entered the individual room, and told the young man I need some type of balm or lotion for the pain in my feet, and he had the perfect remedy. He suggested a lotion that his girlfriend uses after a grueling yoga session. Since I don't know anything about the products, I trusted his opinion made my purchase, and walked back to the hotel so we could head off to our next excursion. Staff was very kind, knowledgeable, and professional. My lotion was a bit out of my price range, but was willing to give it a try if it helps the pain go away...
