Was told we could only pay for it in cash (like actual paper money). OK, kinda odd, but whatever. Got cash and returned to be told that, even after fully paying off the phone in cash, as well as the account, the phone could not be unlocked for 35 days due to new FCC rule. When presented with both the Verizon and FCC policy that said otherwise. Still said that phone could not be unlocked to use with another carrier. Said it was a new FCC policy that wasn't yet on either site. Then, initially refused to give a receipt for paying off the account. Said we had to go to Verizon loyalty. INSANE experience... all ready received response back from FCC to file a formal FCC complaint...which I will be doing. Will also be reporting to BBB and local news tipline. Some really shady things going on here. Someone needs to investigate fully. If you think about using this location or Verizon, period,...run

My phone is completely broke so this hinders everything. I do not have access to another phone. Because of this they tell me they will call me back in an hour on my work phone (not a cell phone) but I won't be here in an hour so I will most likely miss the call. ALL I want to do is go to another provider who is offering a great deal on phones for new customers. I really tried to be patient but this is the 2nd day that I have been trying to get this transfer number. I need a phone because a close family member is in ICU. It is now 7:09 PM and the store at the place I want to transfer to closes at 8:00.

When I arrived, a guy wearing pajamas was putting a hand written sign on the door saying that they were closed...then he locked the door. Another unhappy would-be customer told me that he'd been told that all of their employee quit this morning. So that level of professionalism kind of speaks for itself, and I'll obviously be taking my business elsewhere.

When changing my plan trying to save money she added things we had not discussed and didn't tell me what I would lose by changing plans. She also added insurance and the next up plan before discussing either with me. I picked up on the insurance and called her out on it but missed the other one and have to cancel it with the company.
