Woah what a relief! After going to two other T-Mobile locations today, we are so happy we found this one. We had a bit of a wait but we're kindly put on a list. When it was our turn, Charles was very helpful and friendly. The other two locations, weren't friendly or welcoming whatsoever. More employees. Or quicker employees. This location is a busy location. Employees need to greet customers as they come in. Multi-tasking is not a strong talent here. Orem or another area would be best to go to if you're in a hurry to get things done and handled quickly. When you finally get to an employee, it takes awhile to get things handled. read more

I'm absolutely blown away by the level of service I received at this location from Chloe who helped me upgrade to a new phone and added a data plan to my tablet. For starters, when she was reviewing my account she noticed that I had the wrong data plan on my Apple Watch and helped me fix it! THEN she even helped me decode the details of a rebate promo that I was trying to understand. In fact, she even wrote out and helped me understand the math on my upgrade costs by writing it out. She was so patient, kind and understanding. She was also very personable. I've never received this level of service from a t-mobile associate. She was upbeat and more than willing to take all the guesswork out of my transaction. I walked away feeling very reassured. She made my experience so effortless. read more

Very Disappointing My wife's Galaxy s7 died so we went to this T-Mobile store to buy a new Galaxy s21. The sales rep could not set up the phone with the data stored on Google (e.g. Contacts). We specifically went to this store to receive this service. Hours later my wife figured out how to restore the data on her own. So instead of buying a phone from Amazon for less, we paid $100 more plus a $30 "upgrade fee" for poor service. Lesson learned: next time we'll use Amazon or Best Buy. The most helpful T-Mobile store we have ever been to! We had zero help and terrible service at the Saratoga springs location, so we went to AF. Chloe immediately greeted us and helped my husband upgrade his phone with the best deal possible. She was very informative, especially with the merge from Sprint to T-Mobile. read more

Customer service sucks it took me walking around the store 3 times before anyone said anything to me.

The customer service was unreal! They were super busy and anytime someone walked in they were greeted and helped right away! Me included!!! I was able to switch carriers (parents kicking me off the family plan!), get that cancelation fee paid for, new phone with my old number and everything transferred not to mention get the amazing deal they had for unlimited data!They didn't have the phone in the color and storage size I wanted and the store manager went and drive at least 10 miles to go pick up my new phone so I didn't have to!! Is that customer service or what?! I was hesitant to switch carriers but have never been treated this good by my old carrier (starts with V and ends with erizon). I actually had to go in there earlier to get info on switching and the instant I implied that I might have to switch carriers they couldn't get me out of there faster! Long story short this location knocked it out of the park! I am thrilled to be part of the T-Mobile family and have this location just a few miles away! read more

I've been to many T-mobile stores around the American Fork area but had to come to this location because it was the "flagship store" for the area. Went here to get the iPhone 6 when it was first release because all the other stores around said they would get the first shipment. The manager said he'd send us a text when they came in. Never received any communication from him. Tried for three days of them telling us they for sure were getting them in that day and they'd text us. Finally had to go to South Jordan because they couldn't give us a straight answer why they didn't get any. Felt they weren't being entirely honest with us. THIS AMERICAN FORK STORE DOES NOT DESERVE EVEN A 1 STAR. I had problems with my phone dropping calls. I went in there 3 times and every time I got the same message that new towers were being built in "5 days" in my area. They told me this for 4 months. I went to consumer cellular and they said T mobile does not have reception in my area, so T Mobile lied to me for 4 months. Also one guy there erased all my contact numbers. He did not copy them to the phone before he changed sim cards. It took me 3 viSits to get help. Each first 2 times they said they shred the sim cards, and there was nothing they could do, and it had NOT been SHRED YET.. The 3RD time , 3 DAYS LATER, I walked into the managers office, since the "boys" there would not GO BACK AND GET HIM.even if I had been there 3 times. Finally the manager dug out my sim card--It had not been shred and he FINALLY restored my numbers. i WILL NEVER USE T MOBILE AGAIN, THEY ALSO CHARGE TWICE THE AMOUNT YOU CAN FIND AT CONSUMER CELLULAR FOR 2 LINES. ALSO NOTE THIS, IVE BEEN WITH T MOBILE FOR 20 YRS, EVEN WITH THE 25, 000 DOLLARS IVE SPENT WITH THEM FOR THESE YEARS, THEY STILL LIKED TO ME AND REFUSED TO FIX THE PROBLEM THE 1ST TINE I WENT IN. Don't do business with this store. First of all my iphone 5s which they sold me 18 months ago on their recommendation suddenly started having reception problems. So I was told that I needed to upgrade since the 5 wasn't compatible with their newer system. Fine, I understand cell companies build in obsolescence to make us spend more with them. So I went into the American Fork store and told the clerk I needed to trade in my old phone for a newer one. He processed the paperwork rarely speaking to me. When finished he gave me my new phone and told me my bill would be going up about $6 per month and then handed me back my old phone. I haven't ever traded in an old phone so I assumed that since he gave me my old phone back that they really didn't want it. The big surprise came when my bill came and I was being charged for both phones. When I went into the store the manager told me he had never seen this before and after making me feel like an idiot for expecting to get a trade in and keep the phone was told he would look into it and call me back. Another big surprise when he never called. This store lies and is only there to get your $. Customer service stinks if it even exits at all. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE OR T-MOBILE.
