Poor customer service at Starbucks and poor response from Target management (as Target employees…read moreapparently man the Starbucks in the store). My kid placed a Starbucks order in the Target Store on Ireland Road in South Bend, IN. It came out wrong. It was supposed to be two Venti Strawberry Açaí lemonAid. They didn't have any strawberries because they were out. My kid was only told after the drink was made and it had already been paid for. A Strawberry açaí lemonAid without strawberries is not a strawberry açaí lemonAid. You can't tell people after drink paid for and made that you are out of the named ingredient. Starbucks Worker refused a discount or refund and walked away to begin helping other customers. I found out and went back to store to talk to manager. The same worker who provided the drinks was there. The Manager refused refund for drinks. Offered $5 for inconvenience. Implied that it was ok to sell drinks if only out of one ingredient and also because we took the wrong drinks away (I guess ignoring that her employee walked away from the transaction). Had to call corporate to get it straightened out. This is POOR SERVICE. Unacceptable! Making the customer jump thru so many hoops to get a resolution for their screwup! Resolution should have been immediate and taken less than five minutes rather than taking an hour of my time. Don't sell drinks that you can't make! Refund the customer if you've made the wrong drink. Treat customer better. The unacceptable management response teaches the employee poor service is acceptable.

I was in line waiting with one person ahead of me when someone…read moreapproached the jewelry counter and ask if they would have to wait till cashier got done with the people in line until she could help her. Cashier told her she'd be with her In a minute. I assumed that meant she would finish up the line 1st. After all we were there first. Then the cashier proceeded to help the girl select four or five pieces of jewelry. And of course the girl didn't know what she wanted. She said I'm so undecided. So here I wait the customer that was in line 1st on the cashier to help a different customer. No other cashiers available. I called the manager. And he sent another cashier. It's basic common sense and customer service to serve the customer who is in line 1st. What made that other customer so special and I had to wait additional five minutes for a second cashier to come up And i had to call for?

It literally was the place to be back in the day. I've seen the changes throughout the years, and I think it's still a great place to hang out. They've remodeled, and there are new stores and restaurants. There aren't many malls in the area now. There were other ones to visit back then, but they're all gone now. So, it's nice to know this one is still standing strong for the community. By the way, there are two Chick-fil-A's in the Mishawaka area. We prefer to come to the one in University Park Mall because it's less busy. Both are busy places, but this one isn't as congested. I'm also glad to see Barnes and Noble in this mall. With many book stores closing, I don't get to find one too often. On the weekends, it's hard to find parking, but honestly, it has been that way since I was growing up.

He carried the rug to the front for check out. When I finished shopping, I had the rug in a cart trying to maneuver through the doors, when the same gentleman walked up - he didn't say a word, he just picked up the rug and carried it out to my truck for me. In the same time line witnessed another patron asking for help from someone wearing Meijer branded apparel. They were told " I'm on the phone" don't bother me. Welcome to the Oligarchy!

Theft went up which then they had to get security cameras put up in parking lot and extra security in store. Twice within a month I saw people stealing. First time some thug walking out with his arms full of beer and liquor. Second time two carts full of groceries and toys. Just walking right out like it's what they were supposed to do. It's probably why Walmart had to close. Theft. Meijer is now dirtier than it used to be. It's never stocked well. The produce department is sub par. Staff is friendly, but SLOW. Kohl's also has to be one of the only remaining retail stores in the…read morenation that accepts personal checks as payment. Don't go in there in any sort of rush because it takes the average customer 10 minutes to get through the check out lane between writing checks, coupons, Kohl's cash, fill this out to receive a Kohl's card for 10% off. They're also unable to correct their own errors at check out, forcing you to go to customer service. Ridiculous.
