Bought a 2005 Envoy from them, WONDERFUL vehicle that got us through the time we needed it..... Tom (who was the owner and WONDERFUL MAN, GOD rest his soul, when we bought it) but we paid this vehicle off and soon after he died . Last year we decided to sell this vehicle (privately) .... When we went down with the buyer to transfer the title we were told there was still a lean on the vehicle, we were told we would need a copy of Tom's death certificate to release it...... UNFORTUNATELY Tom's mentally unstable son has taken over the business ...... and now REFUSES to take the necessary steps to release our vehicle for private sale...... his words EXACTLY were "guess you'll have to junk it ‍"....... Why should we junk it for $400, when we can sell it privately for $2,500!!!! Don't do business here!!!!! Bought a truck from him with a three month warranty. Three weeks after purchase the engine blew. He played games pretending to fix it until day 91 when he informed me the warranty wouldn't cover it, he didn't have money to refund me even partially, and he didn't have any vehicle to give me instead. He offered to auction it off and give me the proceeds - should have known better but was trying to recoup atleast a couple dollars. Nine months later have only now received the "auction proceeds" which amounted to about 1/10th of what I paid for the vehicle and only that after filing a criminal complaint against him. Only "R" titles. Bought Chevy Trailblazer, transmission went 200 miles later. Now they fixed it, but they took over 40 days to do it. Then the real trouble began. They didn't bend the frame back perfectly from the accident it was in, so I constantly had the front tires going bald on the outsides. They also used carpenter screws on some of the vehicle! We stopped at T&G auto to look at vehicles. A Dodge Journey caught our eye. Boy were we fooled. I wouldn't recommend T&G to my worst enemy! Drove off the lot and not even a mile away it Started to over heat. Luckily we were close and brought it back to be fixed. Jack had supposedly got it fixed. Then we go pick it up again from being fixed get it to an auto detailer(it was disgusting) and a mechanic and found so much wrong with it. Things that should have made this vehicle illegal to sell someone. Take it back to him to have it "fixed" yet again. Again this vehicle wasn't fixed completely. Pick it up start driving and all the bad came back again. Get it to where we needed and as we go to park the journey the tire locked up and it couldn't turn. Bring it back to Jack and with warranty and all he tells us there's nothing he can do Or will do. We wanted our money back $5500 dollars and he then says he can't all sales finale. What a JOKE. Now we are out that money and stuck with a vehicle we can't get to pass inspection. He is a total rip off. Don't waste your time and money like we did. So unfortunate he took advantage of us and I'm sure so many others. The place should be shut down And never aloud to sell cars. read more
