I called them to uninstall/install a stacked washer/gas dryer unit. They were responsive and knowledgable right from the initial call. They noted issues that may arise with installing the new unit and told me how long installation could take. They also quoted their rate over the phone which was really helpful. My tenants developed a leak in their kitchen sink. An acquaintance recommended T-Flow, and I left them a message. It took about a day for them to get back to me, and they were able to schedule a visit a couple of days later. When they examined the sink, they determined that they needed to replace the faucet & hose; they offered the option of having me by the new faucet, or them doing it. I had them do it, despite the increased cost, because I didn't trust my ability to find an item that fit both the sink and the D/W hook up. They fixed the leak, but my tenants didn't test the connection with the D/W, and when they next ran the D/W it leaked. I contacted T-Flow. They came by the next day and fixed the problem at no additional charge, not even for the adapter they provided. I appreciate workers that make sure their work is up to grade no matter what, and intend to use T-Flow in the future. read more

We rec;d letter from City of Cambridge that we were using way too much water this period and to have someone check out our home. (3 family). We had a clogged bathtub drain and coincidentally saw a T-Flow van parked right outside our building so we gave them a call. We were told that the team working across the street from us could come right over after completing their current job. This was great because the other companies we'd tried reaching out to were all booked since it was the first day after the holidays. The team that came over was super professional, knowledgeable, and fixed our issue very quickly. They even laid down a cloth to walk on and cleaned up after themselves so you couldn't tell we'd just had repairs done at all. I needed a plumber to replace a faucet in my bathroom sink. I call T-Flow and the owner Matt responded right away. He gave me a ballpark estimate so I know what you expect for the job. But I always have to call a few other places before making a decision. Some technicians blow you off if you don't schedule with them right away. Matt was so accommodating. When I called the 2nd time he schedule a time that same week. Henry and his teammate showed up an hour earlier than the time window I was given. They assessed the situation. He mentioned that my water shut off valves needed replacing and what that would involve. I suspected as much since they were rusted in place. I was going to ask him about it anyway. Henry offered to fix it but if I didn't want to he could still finish the faucet replacement without it being an issue. I felt he was being honest about the situation and I wanted no plumbing issue later so I had him fix it. It really didn't take that much extra time. They really do work fast. They did an excellent job with minimal mess. They were very clean. The last time I had plumbers in my place they left plumbers putty everywhere. But this team was very clean. They were also patient with me while I reviewed the work they did and answered all my questions. It's been about 2 months now and I'm still very pleased with the work they did. They were super professional, they set my expectations so there were no surprises and they took like 45 minutes to get it all done. Wow! I can't say enough about how great this company is! Tonight (7pm) I got home to find my Prestige TriangleTube Boiler had some problem with it and we had no hot water. My house is new construction and this is the first plumbing problem we've ever had, so I didn't even know who to call. So I ran down the google list and the first 3 I tried said they couldn't help. I guess it was nice of them not to come out and charge me for nothing, but it still left me with 3 dirty toddlers and no chance for a hot bath. Arghh! Then I got a hold of Matt at T-Flow. He initially also said that it wouldn't be worth him coming out tonight because he would likely need technical support or parts that wouldn't be available overnight. We made an appointment for first thing in the morning and I was satisfied with that. However, then he called back... multiple times! He was clearly looking into things because he kept calling back with another question. "What's the model #?" "Does it look like this?" "Can you text me a picture so I can help you?" So after 30 minutes or so of back and forth texts, calls, and some trial-and-error, my hot water is fixed! No visit, no hourly rate, all just by phone. Amazing! I have never used this company before so he had no reason to help me. In fact, he jibbed himself out of the $175/hr I had already signed up to pay in 12 hours. We've used T-Flow three times now (for a water heater replacement, a leaking cast iron drain section for a 2nd floor bathroom in a multi-family unit and to clear a slow draining sink in a 1st floor bathroom). In every case, they have done an exceptional job and I can highly recommend them. Since the first job, Matt has always been very quick to respond and arrange his people to come out. And during the last job, we had only 1 day to replace the cast iron drain section (due to the tenant being out for just a day) and they stayed to almost 8pm and got it done - without even stopping for a lunch break. On top of that, they cut into the plaster walls very neatly so they could be patched easily and spread drop cloths and vacuumed everything up so the tenant's belongings were not affected at all. These guys are great. All 3 units in my aging Cambridge building installed boilers courtesy of TFlow a few years ago. I called T-flow on Tuesday and spoke with Matt about fixing a simple Symmons shower diverter in our rental house that was causing water to leak into the basement. He was able to come out the same day after I organized with the tenants and fix it on the spot. It was so much better than the runaround that our previous plumber was giving us... It took me a while to find a plumber that was even willing to talk to me about installing a European style radiator in place of an old cast iron. From the start of the project, Matt was really responsive. He was even texting back and forth with me at 8 in the evening to flush out some details prior to ordering the radiator. On the day of the install, Matt's crew (Henry and Marco) came and did the install. It wasn't without its obstacles (old 100 year old house with very old hydronic system). But at every step of the way, Henry and Marco worked through the issues and got the thing installed. The result is awesome, the radiator now blends into the wall and we've reclaimed about a foot 1/2 of wasted space. We are considering doing a few more throughout the house. The quality of the work is excellent and the price quoted for the radiator and install was bang on. I can't say enough about this crew, will be using them again for future projects. read more

I have used T-Flow in the past because they have excellent service and seem reasonable, so called them again when the gas company told me I had a small leak in a gas pipe and it needed to be replaced. When the snow storm made them unable to come on Monday, I got a phone call on Sunday to let me know. When Henry & his partner were on their way and knew they'd be late because of traffic they called to let me know. So great customer communication! When they arrived, they replaced the gas pipe pretty quickly, explained where they were each step of the way, and reviewed the bill with me at the end. Matt worked to find replacement toilet that would fit in limited quirky space. Had to wait a few days until new toilet could be installed but Jose and Henry were well worth the wait. As a newish homeowner, I was generally clueless about water heater issues and they were all super patient with me. Based on the other fine reviews I gave Matt a call. Henry and John came to my three family house and did a major repair to the main cast iron drain between my second and third floors. I knew in advance there would be some demo work required so they could inspect the pipes, but Matt said not to worry and that they would do the demo for me. What a relief. After the demo, they inspected the pipes and explained to me what work needed to be done. I felt confident they were giving me good advice and not selling me a bunch of working I didn't need so I readily agreed to their proposal. The job was quite challenging cutting cast iron with a reciprocating saw it tight quarters, but the guys were real professionals and were not deterred. They put forth great effort in getting the old cast iron removed. After installing the new pipes they were very meticulous in ensuring there were no leaks and cleaned up all of the mess. In my estimation, I received high quality work at a fair price. I will surely have these guys back when I need future plumbing work. read more
