The deals on standard keychains and magnets were also very good so we bought dozens.

I find the finer quality jackets a bit higher on the price, but if you are a serious outdoorsy person, this place is good for that investment. The staff is polite and friendly. Being an outlet, there is little advice, so you should know what you're getting into before buying. All in all, good value. And if you lucky enough to live nearby, come frequently, as each month they bring in new stock (well, technically old products that couldn't sell anymore at the retail stores, but I won't tell if you won't tell.)

I absolutely love this location as Metro is the biggest mall in BC and it's always popping with a ton of selection of random stuff and knick knacks! Not all items are $2. Actually, most items are $2+ but that doesn't really matter because you're getting quality stuff. Just keep in mind that a majority of the stuff are Made in China, but look around and some things are from Japan. I personally think this location is better than the one at Aberdeen because they've gone through tons of renovations and the vibe is different. It's also smaller with a Canada Post on the ground floor. Definitely check this location out if you're in the area!

I was looking for some cheapo hand tools and the selection isn't the greatest. Also the aisles are a bit on the narrow side. Guess they were trying to cram in 1 more row of goodies. There is a security guy planted right at the exit. I feel bad for him. How would you ever catch a shoplifter here? Random piece of trivia: this place used to be a Blockbuster video store. The owners are nice and somewhat eccentric and the store and mall are usually creepily silent. The area is very dirty and not well maintained. Once in the store the shelves are very high and narrow. It is a very overwhelming feeling if you are sensitive to small spaces/claustrophobic. The amount of items in there is very overwhelming as well. I didn't stay long and mostly stuck to the snacks and candy. They have a large area near the check out that has candy, gum etc. Purchased an aero bar, coffee crisp, kit kit and toffee candy bar. For 4 candy bars (I either didn't get a receipt, didn't take it or lost it but it was $4.07 USD. There were 3 self check outs and one staff there to check out as well. Saw employees in aisles but only one at registers. Overall it was an underwhelming and overwhelming experience and I would not go out of my way to go back if in the area.
