Okay so I may not be a nail guru, because this is like the second time I've ever had my nails done, but I'm thoroughly impressed with the outcome. I came in with a wild idea and a bunch of random reference photos and the owner and technician helped me figure out exactly what would look prettiest. My nail tech was Sam and he was very kind and funny, being very sweet the entire time. I also have many cuts and scabs on my fingers because I have a horrible habit of picking my skin, another reason for me wanting to get nails. Sam was very careful and I didn't feel a single sting from the chemicals he used to do my nails, and he didn't cut or knick my sensitive skin with the nail file. This was very appreciated. Lastly, for all the shebang the total cost was ~only~ $60, I am more than happy with the cost for the beautiful result. Will definitely be returning. read more

It was medium busy on a Saturday afternoon and sat down in the waiting chairs just taking the work tables and spa chairs. I went up to the counter when I figured out what I wanted, a spa pedicure. Here to be a very lovely and calming interior. The owner asked me to select my nail polish color and then immediately directed me to massage chair #5. It was a very hot, jetted spa bath, but the lady Lin adjusted the temperature for me, while her husband the owner got me my choice of water to drink, though I also saw two types of slushy machines in there. I stayed in the spa bath and the chair for about half an hour just relaxing before Miss Lena came over and clipped my nails, rub down my feet with a file. I also had very hot towels wrapped around my feet and legs, which was quite wonderful and then she sugar scrubbed my calves and feet and put lotion on my feet. She then sprayed sanitizer on my toes put on little foam sandals and toe spacers a base coat, the OPI red I had selected, and then a topcoat. She was very kind and was happy to chat with me when I wanted to chat and focused on her work when I was quiet she was very friendly. Then she led me over to a chair where I sat with my feet under a light so they were dried and cured. I wasn't told when to leave but she did tell me I could wear the sandals out and drive in them so she was very helpful. This was my first time ever having my nails done outside the home so I was very impressed. The only downside was my big toes had the corners clipped a little too short in a couple spots but it was fine otherwise. read more

I've been going here for years. It's always hit or miss. The only reason why I've continued to go is because it's close and cheap. I paid 35$ for my dip nails and the lady cut me up! My fingers were so sore and my nail beds were BLEEDING. Not only did she make me bleed my blood got all over her tools and she didn't clean them. Disgusting! It's this old lady that sits in the back she's terrible. Once she saw what she did, all she said was sorry. Like wow I feel so much better? Didn't get a refund. Didn't get a reduced price. Went in to have a full leg wax. The guy ushered me in to a small dirty room. The table (bed) clearly had used linens with shoe prints and dirt, as well as rumpled and used & and the towel was also clearly used and dirty, the pillow still had hair from the prior client(s). When the technician came in she told me to lay down and I asked her to change the linens. All she did was cover the dirty linens with the dirty towel and put a couple of napkins onto the dirty pillow. I told her that was unacceptable and that the linens needed to be changed and use clean towels. She left the room to get another woman who then told me that they had to wait for the manager to come back to change the linens and that I could come back later. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!!! Word of caution to everyone who comes here. The sanitary conditions are dank!!! Please please protect your health and don't give these people business. They have no regard for people's heath!!! WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!!! I just moved to Commerce for school so I needed to find a new salon instead of driving and hour back home every two weeks. This spot is not it. First off, when I walked in the door 3 nail techs were sitting on their phones and one was at the counter paying someone out. It took a solid 2 minutes for someone to finally acknowledge me. Then I was told to go to seat number 9 and the tech who was sitting there looked displeased to have a customer. I had nexgen but wanted to do pink and white solar this time and I needed to trim my nails down a little bit but keep them long still, which I told her. She brings out a bowl of acetone and sticks my hands in there. She then proceeded to move to another station and play on her phone and left my fingers soaking in the chemicals for 15 WHOLE MINUTES. Without checking them. She finally takes them out when I start shifting uncomfortably in my chair. She was so rough with my actual fingers that I walked out of there with sore knuckles and fingers. She started drilling the remaining polish off and then took out the tool that's meant to just buff the rest off real quick, like 2/3 times over then done. WRONG. She kept drilling until I told her it hurt. It was almost like she was trying to drill my whole nail away. They were so paper thin and fragile I wanted to cry. I've never in 3 years have someone drill that much with the buff tool. Totally ridiculous. Then when it came time to actually put the powder on she was having such a hard time keeping the white on the brush before she got it into my finger and she kept pulling out clumps from the canister. Are you not supposed to have clean powders???? Don't clumps usually mean something is in there that shouldn't be?!? Shouldn't she have gotten a new thing of powder out?? I'm sorry but if a tech doesn't know how to do simple pink & white solar don't let me sit down in her chair. And as a nail tech don't do it if you can't. I thought that would be the worst of it but again, WRONG. She picking up that damn file and rip to me. She was holding so tightly to my fingers i couldn't move them at all. She filed my long beautiful nails down to nubs. Then she tried to file them more and made me bleed because she starting filing the skin under my nails with it. When I tell you my nails can't go shorter I'm not joking. Then, when she was trying to shape them she was filing my ACTUAL SKIN instead of my nails. And I couldn't pull away even though the was hurting me because she had a monster grip on me. So I said "ow that's my skin" and she just looked up and the more I said it the more she ignored me. The pink and white itself looks no better than what I could've done with regular polish. The lines are uneven and some aren't even curved it's just a flat line of white. No nail matches in shape and I wanted narrow and she rounded out my nails because she filed them to nothing she had nothing to shape with. Unacceptable. I have never felt so panicked in a nail salon before. I felt like I was trapped and being tortured with a nail file. 8/10 fingers have cuts on them somewhere from the file or a drill whether it's along the cuticle or on top of the finger tips under the nail and I will be keeping an eye out for infections from dirty powder or dirty tools. Totally ridiculous I didn't even want to pay!!! I will not be going back. Commerce Nails is a total joke and I'll be driving home to Cosmo Nail in Wylie from now on. read more

Just terrible, I previously had gel on my toes and the lady I had struggled to take it off, almost like she is a beginner and didn't know what she was doing. Another nail tech had to come and take off the old gel. Then she kept picking off unneeded parts of my SKIN!! Then i don't believe that they sanitize there utensils properly. Don't recommend. Went to this place to get my eyebrows waxed . The lady walked into the room with a rude tone & said "lay down", didn't bother to say "hi, how are you" or anything of that sort. She was very rough with my eyebrows. Also , turned my head in rough positions. Won't be going back here & also my eyebrows are not that great read more

First of all, they sat me and my friend down to get our pedicures, and then started right away on her. Since she was just getting her toes done and I was getting both my toes and fingernails, I figured someone would be along shortly but I had to wait until the guy doing her nails was completely done with hers (about a 35-40 minute wait with my feet in the spa which by the end was cold). When I asked for a gel manicure they acted like I was weird for wanting the manicure and not just polish. The girl doing my gel polish did an extremely sloppy job, (seriously, a 4 year old could paint inside the lines better) and when she noticed my thumbnail had a black piece of fuzz on it, she just went ahead and put the clear top on anyway. Now, less than a week since I got the gel manicure, it's chipping like crazy. I came here because my friend said it was cheap, but it's cheap for a reason. read more

I've been coming here for years but recently I changed one of my services and I felt "price gouged". I normally get Next Gen nails and pedicure which normally costs me around 55. I asked for a traditional Mani Pedi which goes for 40 on their board. I told the lady my nails needed a break from Next Gen because they were getting weak. I told her just regular manicure and she said gel would be much stronger for my nails. So I agreed. She didn't tell me it would be $25 more for a mani pedi with gel! This made it about $10 more over a process that takes a lot more work for the nail tech to do! I'm not ever going back despite location convenience. Commerce nails is a nice and friendly place to get your nails done! I usually go on Saturdays and a very nice young man does my nails very well. They have recently renovated and have a much nicer place now! Very good variety of shellac nail colors as well as regular nail colors. Would recommend read more

I went to this nail salon about 2 years ago for a shellac manicure which I'd never had done before. It seemed like they needed more colors because they didn't have raspberry. She took her time & was nice. I wish they had moisturized my nails & hands with something because they were so dry. The manicure turned out pretty. I just wish I'd known how difficult it is to remove the polish. I damaged my nails at home trying to remove it. read more

I got my nails done the other day and I'm very disappointed in the outcome. When I went in to ask how much a medicure/ pedicure is together the lady told me $37. I even double checked if that was for both together and she told me yes. Then when I went to check out my bill was far more then that it was $55. I even mentioned what she has told me before and she told me she never said that. I clearly asked them how much several times and they told me $37 everytime. Now its been a week since I got them done and they already need to be filled. She did a crappy job at them. I would not recommend them at all. I will never go back. read more
