I walked in a nobody was there so they took me immediately. If you are a walk in it's whatever customer was first. My set was 80$. glue on tips and then acrylic and gelx paint on the tips and design. My nail beds are nice even and smooth, no extra glue or nail pieces on the sides, and underneath is clean. Since we moved from Austin area it's been really hard to find a nail place I like that will do brush on acrylic nails. The place I usually go to makes me provide my own powder and I still pay full price. I drove 30 minutes after seeing this newer salon with great reviews. I called to make an appointment and verify they would do brush on acrylic before heading that way. As soon as I set down the tech doing my nails asked why I didn't do dip nails. I said it isn't strong enough and always cracks. She assured me her way of doing it would be better than I've ever had before and it would last longer than the brush on. I drove all the way there to get what I wanted. I told her I would like what I requested and she said she usually only offers that on longer nails, mine are so short that I really don't need it that way. This is what a lot of the conversation was the entire time she was soaking and removing the old color. Once she got to the new color she was like just try it my way and started dipping! Now it's been less than 48 hours and $102 later (got a pedicure too) and I've got chipped nails and one that's cracked and wiggles when you press ok the corner. Went to get mani pedi. Pedi is ok this is 2nd time but I won't go back. I don't get massages and the extras. The mani which was ACTUALLY gel nails the first time was ok. They had to put a tip on and then do gel. The next time I went back for fill was terrible. The nail fill was so thick and gross. I had to have the paint job done twice. The boy was so freaking rude I can't understand why they even work there. Henry was supposed his name but the first guy who did my nails was Henry too. I think there's smtg nefarious going on there but I'll NEVER go back. Also it's always musty and no fresh air. Maybe the college kids don't know better but hey!!! Came in needing to repair two nails. Someone walked in 20 min after me & , yet they started servicing her immediately. Didn't give me a color book to look at or anything. Said 20 min wait for me to fix two nails after they started servicing someone else, started doing a full set immediately for someone who walked in 15 min after me! read more

I believe in self care and I want to come out of a nail salon feeling like I got my monies worth and that I was pampered. But every time I leave this place, I'm irritated and feel cheated. It's like they change prices all the time with no explanation why. One time, right before the nail tech got to work, I asked her how much it would be and she told me $65. I asked her to break down those charges and even then she was off , it didn't add up to $65 for a full set. I asked to speak to someone else and when he came and totaled up everything on his calculator, he still couldn't get to $65. Today I left the salon and I was being told $70. For almost the same nails just a more simpler design. Here's the breakdown I was informed of; Full set starts at - $35 Nail length (med/long) - $5 Shaping - $5 Painting (art) - $10 This is starting to get out of hand and I feel they are taking advantage of people in Commerce area, seeing that we don't have that many options. read more

The two stars is because of how nice and kind everyone here is. However the nail techs did terrible work. I asked for a simple pink and white tip solar nails. And then a French Shallac honey and lavender pedicure... Here is pictures for reference. I think anyone who knows anything about nails will look at these pictures and understand why they are not up to par. Honestly, the worst nails I've ever had done. Uneven... the nail gel goes up into my cuticle way too high. also the clear polish was left off of many spots and I had to ask him to go back and re-do it so it was on all my nails.... please look at my toe nails and nail pictures to understand what I'm saying. This is the first place I've been to that doesn't soak your nails before starting a manicure, didn't have a fan to expedite the drying of nails and didn't help put your flip flops on after getting a pedicure. The service also didn't seem on par. They asked if I wanted a drink (I requested water) then forgot to bring it to me. They also didn't bother to be friendly. Tried this new nail solon several days ago. I received the best pedi I have had in a long, long time. Very courteous. All wearing masks and gloves.
