My husband had an initial meeting with Ronald, who was very knowledgeable, for a quote. We received an official quote from Jennifer, a few days later. We were able to review and request modifications to the project online and we appreciated the transparency and clarity throughout the process. We requested quotes from two other contractors and Jenix was the most responsive, thorough, and was available to start the project way earlier than anyone else we spoke with. Jenix worked in our house for over a month and the crew was always respectful of our space, prompt, polite, and tidy with cleaning up at the end of each day. Even better, it was super convenient that they hauled away demo debris so we didn't have to figure out how to dispose of it. The team was patient with our questions and proactive in asking our opinion on key design decisions. When we weren't sure about a decision, they were always willing to provide guidance based on what they thought was best. Ronald and Jennifer were responsive and flexible when we requested changes that resulted in rework to ensure we ended up with a final result that we were happy with. Thanks to Jennifer, Ronald, Nelson, and the rest of the Jenix crew for a job well done!

We were extremely pleased with work performed by DPS in a bathroom and kitchen following flooding…read moredamage. While we were referred to DPS through our insurance company, I would not hesitate to contact DPS directly in the future for further work. The quality of their work was top-notch, but more importantly, the communication and reliability of the project manager and the work crews was exceptional. I have used a number of different contractors for numerous projects in and around my house over the years, so have much upon which to base this review in comparison. DPS provided the highest quality overall work with the best communication I have ever experienced. The project manager assigned to our job, Daniel Tepe, was extremely professional and is an excellent communicator. He has a remarkable ability to articulate the repairs needed and explain options to the customer, while also keeping work on track. We were pleased with the professionalism, timeliness, hard work, and skill of the various crews. In addition, work that was subcontracted to Alexandria Carpet One and BK Electric was also well-done, timely, and top quality. I came away from this multi-stage repair highly-pleased with the process and the results. I would recommend DPS for any home repair -- they appear to have the ability to manage very large-scale home renovation and restoration projects.

Some things RYC did on our project: -Removed a 1st floor window instead of a 2nd floor window. -Put trash inside our walls and drywalled over it. -Hung $80k work of cabinets over walls that were not drywalled. -Then proceeded to attempt to repair drywall after cabinets were hung, damaging our cabinets in the process. -Damaged various parts of our home through poor risk mitigation, typically not bothering to put any plastic, ram board, etc. down to protect the workspace.

MACCO is an excellent remodeling outfit. We interviewed many contractors to finish our basement,…read moreincluding the addition of a new full bathroom. MACCO was not only the most competitively priced, but they were also the only group that was interested in listening to what we wanted to do and work with us to achieve what we envisioned. Mark McBride and his crew were fantastic to work with. We wanted a new furnace and we wanted to move it slightly from the old furnace's original position. Everyone else told us that wasn't possible or wasn't advisable. Mark said he'd ask his HVAC expert and within a day he had his guy at our house to take a look. Zero fuss. The answer was no problem. They won't waste your money on expensive and unnecessary drawings and they'll work with you every step of the way to make sure the work they're doing is what you want. They're professional, prepared, and on time. The overall project went pretty much exactly according to the timeline set out at start and the finished product was fabulous. We're down there all the time now. Because their pricing was so competitive, we added the replacement of our aging deck to the ticket and that looks fabulous too! Their entire team treated my wife and I really well. I plan to use Mark and MACCO again in the future and I'd recommend them to anyone. We had an excellent experience.
