For $45.00, about 1/2 drive. Then we found out my husband left his phone. We called the phone Anwar answered said he had a fair to call back. We did long story short he said he was 10 mins away from where he dropped us off we can meet but it would cost us $40.00. Now do the math he took advantage of the situation. $45.00 for 1/2 then $40.00 for 10min. I had no problem paying for his time but I don't like being taken advantage.

We've tried them all in Nashville, but we've finally found the most reliable, punctual, friendly taxi service. The A-1 driver was early, patiently waiting for our family to gather our belongings, alerting us to his presence and giving us all the time we needed. He efficiently navigated morning rush hour and dropped us off at the airport in plenty of time. The van was noticeably in much better condition than other transportation services. Yes, most airport transportation is the same with very little variation, but there is something special about A-1 that has made us customers for life.

Amy, the driver, apologized, and within ten minutes, called back saying she could get another seat that's 20 minutes away. After waiting by the curb for an hour for them to get a properly sized seat, it wouldn't secure to their vehicle and the back strap appeared to be shearing off. Absolutely unacceptable from a safety standpoint (and professionally, for that matter). We kindly let them know this wouldn't work and went our separate ways and found other transportation. Amy was also apologetic, but that's where decency ended. Amy then tried to keep payment, justifying that since she had to travel to go get the other car seat, that made it fair even though they didn't render the transportation service. The sole reason they had to go get another car seat (which again wasn't suitable) is because they provided one that was far too small than requested, more than 6kg out of range. (We called them once to confirm this was something they could accommodate, and then again to book it and confirm). While unfortunate, their lack of providing the proper seat we requested/paid for isn't our fault. This is very simple. After traveling for 30 hours, what should've been an easy to and from shuttle ended up being hours wasted sitting outside. Attempting to keep the payment is incredibly dishonest and telling about their operations and character. Disgusting behavior. (not that this really matters to me as I would've done it regardless, but paying $200 for a one-way shuttle and loading your own luggage while the driver just stands there is really something else)

Borderline criminal activity, avoid the cabs if at all possible. 1. They shut off the meters, quote ridiculous flat rate prices. A mile request was $35, Uber was $7. 2. Took cab from Grand Ole Opry to Downtown, asked price and was told same as Uber, I told him Uber was $35. Arrived on Street near hotel as was told $60, I told him $40 was more than fair. He has automatic door on a van and would not open the door. I opened when I told him I would press charges and took a picture of him. 3. A third time was quoted $35 for a 1/2 mile, it was cold so wanted a cab, said no. Where are the leaders in Nashville? This is a wonderful city and this needs to be fixed. Hotel folks all warned stay away from most of the Yellow cabs.
