I booked my wedding here for October of 2023 and couldn't be more happy. From the gorgeous modern style barn, to the outdoor ceremony spot in the woods, Hickory Meadows is a hidden treasure that will make my wedding day the most memorable day ever. Thank you to the staff for being supportive and offering help on details before my big day, and I'm sure they will be even more supportive on my big day!

We chose to sit outside most of the evening because it was so cold which was a bit of a bummer but it was a gorgeous evening so that was fine. The music was also piped out doors so you still got to enjoy it. But to go in to use the restroom... Miserably cold! Now I understand that I was wearing a sun dress but so was everyone else. There was also this mammoth guy at the entrance with a gun that scared the hell out of me. He was as big as the door. Were they expecting trouble? Weird! The food was ok. Nothing special to be honest. There was an upstairs that was pretty empty (but it was at least warmer up there). This spot is 15 min from downtown Nashville. If you're going to Uber/lyft anywhere please be aware that the cost is highly inflated. We paid $35+ tip on the way there. On the way back at 11:00 at night... $105 + tip!! It was a 15 min drive!! I nearly fell over. I suggest sticking to the downtown area if you can!!

One thing we cared quite a bit about was having a unique venue that would allow us to decorate it with a personal touch, and The Bedford offered just that. We enjoyed being able to use both the downstairs area and the balcony for some great pictures. Though we didn't get to ultimately use the outdoor area (too hot that evening), the seating and the fairy lights provided a great look. None of our vendors had any issues with the space, it was super easy to load in and out. We also really enjoyed working with our coordinator, Jillian, who was super responsive throughout and had great suggestions around every detail of our event. She helped make the process of planning this event from out of town as seamless as possible. We'd definitely recommend The Bedford for all types of events.

I think my favorite part are the people that hang around this place. They are serious about work but super friendly. The owner John is super creative and talented with his decor and construction. He designed the interior by scratch making each space unique and personalized with music themed art. On the first floor they have plenty of nooks and rooms available for a daily or monthly fee, including a conference room and large performance hall designed for showcases, events and concerts. Indo is tucked away in the more industrial area of the Gulch, so I didn't even know it existed until a friend told me about it. It's a perfect oasis for someone who enjoys a co-sharing space but not overly crowded like some others.

Parking was $10 cash and we were able to snag a spot close to the venue. There were food trucks outside that were much cheaper than the drinks they offered inside. While the grounds are really nice and well maintained, my biggest complaint is the of lack of AC. If you're going to host an expo in August, you NEED to have some sort of air circulation. I was SO uncomfortably hot in there and ended up rushing through the expo just to get out of there. The other issue I had was their traffic control. They charge for parking right at the light so it causes major traffic. The guys controlling parking traffic don't even know where they are. One guy waved us to go through AT THE SAME TIME he waved people to cross the street. Not once, but TWICE. When leaving, another guy waved us to go through but didn't move out of the way completely so I had to dodge driving over his feet. I will be coming back next week for Villain Arts but at least I'm prepared for uncomfortable temperatures inside and their traffic security to be completely clueless as to where they are.

Our greeter Sterling was the most amazing tour guide. Probably the best tour guide I have ever had, in any city. Kind, funny, informative with a personal touch, she gave us a complete and comprehensive walking tour of Nashville. The tour had something for everyone. Architecture and art, food and music. She gave us a lay of the land and helped us map out what we wanted to do while we were there. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. The tour was free and you are not allowed to tip. RIDICULOUS! I would have gladly paid for this tour and I felt horrible that I couldn't tip...but that's their policy. Definitely book this ahead of time and towards the beginning of your trip. Also, the nice people in the visitors center were full of smiles and warmth (Paige). They gave us tons of additional info that made our trip perfect. So Awesome! Just Do It!

Met an *uber* knowledgeable greeter (and her husband) - who understood we'd miss their tour - but strongly encouraged us to sign up for the Must City Greeter tour - which was *amazing!* Shannon, our guide, took us on a completely different tour - to places *she* liked, and she talked about honkey tonks *she* liked, and food/restaurants *she* recommended! A TOTALLY *personalized* tour! We did not stay on the main roads - but went on side roads and got a unique view on Nashville downtown. Shannon even pointed us toward where to go to take a great photo on the bridge! She "went over" the expected one-hour tour - but not one of us had a problem with that! (Did you know there is *symbology* in the architecture of the Radio City Hall of Fame?! Ask Shannon!!!!!!) AND YOU'RE NEVER GOING TO BELIVE THIS: TOTALLY FREE!!! I mean *TOTALLY* free! The guides are NOT ALLOWED TO ACCEPT TIPS! REALLY?! While "FREE" is my best price - this was exceptional!

We decided to take a chance on Urban Nashville and it actually exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The check in process was really easy, and I was so appreciative that they allowed early check in for a small fee. After a 3am flight, it would've been torture to wait until 4pm to check in, so when we were given the option to have our check in be as early as we wanted, I was ecstatic. When we arrived we were blown away by how nice the studio was. Each room was extremely clean and they even had some nice amenities in the bathrooms, which was such a nice touch. The beds were some of the comfiest I've ever slept in at an Airbnb, and the space itself felt very home-y and comfortable. I also loved the fact that there was a washer dryer available for use! If we ever visit Nashville again, we will 1000% be rebooking with Urban Nashville.

I absolutely loved my time at Scarritt Bennett, it felt like a green oasis of calm in the middle of mid-town Nashville. The room was clean, safe and quiet, I couldn't ask for more. I loved walking through the grounds and walking past the medieval rock labyrinth everyday. Seeing the rabbits scoot about on the grounds, the giant mature trees full of songbirds. This review would absolutely have been 5/5 stars had they not recommended the Flower Fairy for florals. The Flower Fairy was the most unprofessional person I have ever worked with. I should have done the research on my own instead of taking the planners word on it after seeing one example of her work and that is on me, but I would have never expected the outcome to be what it was. I specifically asked that the only flowers at the wedding be sunflowers. I gave her all the freedom on greenery, but as far as flowers... ONLY SUNFLOWERS. Seems like a reasonable request since it was my wedding, but I guess not. She used strawflowers for the boutonnières and the cake. I am pretty chill. This is something that could have been addressed at a later time and we could have came to a solution. Instead... she approached me at my wedding and tried to defend her decision making process. I was SHOCKED! She said that she chose to do strawflowers for the boutonnières because she felt like sunflowers would be too heavy. I explained that we had bought special pocket inserts for that exact reason. It was just so unprofessional for her to approach me during my wedding. I never got an explanation as to why there wasn't even one sunflower on the cake. The only thing that was ever done to make any attempt to make the situation right was a $300 refund (which is a joke considering the amount of money we spent on florals), but there will never be anyway to go back and fix it. My wedding pictures will always look like the groomsmen were wearing cheap weeds on their suits and the cake... oh the cake. It was just so bad. If she had any type of professional place this review would be there, but she doesn't and I wouldn't anyone to have the experience that I did.

When we arrived for the cocktail hour, there was a coat check at the bottom of the stairs. Then the set of stairs led up to the main ballroom. During cocktail hour, the staff was delightful bringing around the hors d'oeuvres and the bartenders were super friendly. Some of my favorite hors d'oeuvres included the candied bacon and shrimp and grits. I enjoyed the pear salad we started with. It had blue cheese and a sweet yogurt dressing. The entree was prime rib with sides of mashed potato and green beans. The prime rib and mashed potato were pretty good. The green beans were okay. Overall, the food was solid for a catered dinner. The main ballroom fits about 14 round tables of 10 with a dance floor. The bathrooms are located underneath the stairs that go up into the balcony. The balcony is big enough to fit about 10 more round tables of 10 and it has a beautiful view of the downstairs. There is also a patio on the main floor. During the winter wedding I attended, the patio was heated and provided a nice space for more room to hang out. The space at this venue is incredible and fits a large amount of people.
