The museum and grounds include significant Americana, Johny Cash, Elvis, and a painting featuring Bob Dylan. Clean. Well cared for and presented. Loved it. We arrived on a quiet fall day, out of season and couldn't promise the same experience for others. There is a gathering area to enjoy music performances in the summer months that wasn't open. There wasn't any food sold and I'm unaware if guests can bring any snacks to the events.

The last night there I decided to read through it, thinking to myself that we needed to make another trip through Tennessee to hit all of these cool places. Some we have already been to, but wouldn't mind going again. My husband being a HUGE Johnny Cash fan, I suggested we make a detour on our way home, just to fit Storytellers Hideaway Farm in. We were NOT disappointed. We both thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the house and the barn with all sorts of memorabilia. The highlight of the experience was the music and camaraderie with Johnny Cash's nephew, Mark Alan Cash. We could sit there and listen to him all day. We loved listening to the stories from his personal experiences with his uncle. If we ever get the chance to come back through here, we definitely will.

When my dear friend and soon-to-be-bride found this house to stay in, just outside of Nashville,…read moreTN, for her bachelorette party...she had me at the first photo. This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom rental home is located in Franklin, TN which is about 20 minutes outside of the heart of Nashville and it's BEAUTIFUL and incredibly reasonably priced. We loved that it was outside of the heart of downtown because we could relax and really fully enjoy the vacation feel of this home during the day, but then could easily get a driver into the city to party it up at night. We used the car service that the owners of the property recommended, Westhaven Carriage, and they were INCREDIBLY professional. You can tell the owners of this rental home take a lot of pride in their home, from the impeccable Italian inspired interior, to the modern amenities (two dishwashers and a tv in every room for example), and the screened in porch that became our go-to hang out place (even in 90+ degree weather)...everything fit just the way we needed it to for this vacation/celebration. We pretty comfortably had 10 people sleeping in the home (2 people per bedroom plus an extra person in the master bedroom bc it was ENORMOUS and 1 person sleeping on the sectional in the TV room). Although we didn't get to explore Franklin as much as we would have liked (remember it was a bachelorette party)...it's a very historic town and really has its own great character as the icing on the cake to being so close to Nashville.
