My German half-brother-in-law and I both ordered the Schnitzel, and he actually said it was very well done and one of the best ones he's ever had, which I think says a lot!! My husband got the pork knuckle which was really just way too much food, but he enjoyed it thoroughly. The servers were very kind and helpful, and although we sat outside because the weather was nice and there was no air-conditioning indoors, I got to walk through the restaurant to access the salad bar and was surprised to see how nicely decorated it was inside. I definitely considered coming back for a second day in a row and definitely would have if we had stayed for longer!

The restaurant is in, let's say, an exotic part of town, but certainly not scary or unsafe. The dining area is upstairs (no elevator). Very clean and open decor, well lit. It gave the impression that we left Hamburg and entered Austria. Would definitely go again if i'm in the neighborhood.
