It looked like the reviews were good from both tourists and locals alike, so I figured we should check it out. My German half-brother-in-law and I both ordered the Schnitzel, and he actually said it was very well done and one of the best ones he's ever had, which I think says a lot!! My husband got the pork knuckle which was really just way too much food, but he enjoyed it thoroughly. The servers were very kind and helpful, and although we sat outside because the weather was nice and there was no air-conditioning indoors, I got to walk through the restaurant to access the salad bar and was surprised to see how nicely decorated it was inside. I definitely considered coming back for a second day in a row and definitely would have if we had stayed for longer!

My nephew however really enjoyed the Weiner Schnitzel - wow, I didn't think they could be so large. The service was very friendly, however scarce. The ambiance is VERY loud (it was a Friday night). One memory I have that redeems the whole evening is there is a large barrel of Jagermeister with a spout that I noticed while exiting the restaurant. Ein mediterranes Abendbrot, Käse und hochwertigster Schinken, wie San Daniele und Teruel Gran Reserva werden frisch mit der schnittigen roten Berkel zurecht gemacht und können mit Eingelegtem und hausgemachten Pasten kombiniert werden. Dazu leckeres traditionell gebackenes Brot mit feinstem Olivenöl beträufelt... was will man mehr... ach ja, von der "Belle Iloise", der französischen Manufaktur für edle Fischkonserven reichen wir die herzhaften Leckereien auch direkt vom Brett.
