They were contracted by the sellers to inspect for mold when we had suspected something was going on- they did an air test only and then called our realtor to inform Him it was safe. Please see photos. There were in fact 8 SEPARATE locations of mold costing over 10k in remediation. Let alone what we still don't know about. This cost us way too much money and put my family (including a young baby's and unborn child's health at risk). Update- for the record no destructive testing was required. A simple visual exam indicates the presence of moisture and water damage in multiple Locations- which may indicate further testing is warranted. And if per chance the seller was directing you EXACTLY where to test- are you really doing a thorough job or you getting the seller the results they want. And then- why would you contact a prospective buyer and tell them everything is safe - go ahead buy the house- when in fact you havent really thoroughly evaluated the property. Hired for indoor air testing in my home. After test results were emailed, they did not respond to follow up questions.

Syntech was sent out to my condo to be tested for asbestos. I had a water leak and couldn't figure out where it was coming from. We needed to test the walls before we started demo. JT was sent to my place. He was very professional. We had 3 different plumbers come out to to diagnose and find the leak but no one could fine it. JT Was nice enough to take a look around and he told me where he thought the leak was coming from and he was correct! He is not even a plumber but he has a lot of experience from maintenance. So I'm purchasing a home in AJ. We wanted to get a lead paint inspection because of the age of the home we are purchasing! I called a different company to have them inspect. They couldn't come out so they referred me to JT over at Syntech. I called him Tuesday morning and he was able to come out the first thing the next day. His inspection only took 20 minutes and he was very polite and helpful. Answered all our questions and explained everything thoroughly!! After having some respiratory health problems for a few months, I wanted to get a mold test in my house just to rule out mold as the culprit of my concerns. A contractor friend recommended Syntech Environmental and Michael Ghee. I called and was able to make an appointment for an inspection. The technician arrived on time, was friendly and were in and out of my house in no time. I got the results back after a few days and there was no evidence of mold! I have to agree with all the other reviewers regarding Syntech Environmental and especially JT! We spoke a couple of times prior to setting up an appointment. I discussed my concerns and needs and he suggested a plan and a test that I was in agreement with. He could have suggested another test, but explained to me that he felt it would not be necessary. JT is knowledgeable, professional and enjoyable. Everything was completed on time and even the test results came back ahead of my expectations.
