They also didn't complete set up as asked and paid for and charged my elderly parents the higher rate for paying by credit card when I told them I would go to my own house and return with my checkbook to pay to save my parents money. I live 15 minutes away round trip. During my short absence, the movers pressured my parents to pay with the credit card. Sadly, we even bought all the crew lunch to save them time and money. We feel betrayed and angry. We will never use them and hope others avoid our fate.

Everything was wrapped in blankets and wrapped again in plastic to protect my furniture. I was tremendously impressed by the care they took and their efficiency. when I remarked on this they just shrugged and said "This is what we do". I highly recommend Stairhopper. All our items were moved undamaged and put exactly where we asked them to be. The personal service was impeccable as the owner, Alex, was very communicative each step of the way, even at "off-hours" and was personally on-site whenever there was activity. The owner accepted any task we asked of him without making us feel as though we were inconveniencing him or his crew. They even happily mounted a TV on a wall of one of our offices. The estimate was sent to us within the hour. They said they would call with the pickup time. The called with the arrival time. They called the morning of the move to tell us that they were on their way. Nick, Alex and Ryan were extremely professional. They wrapped some of wooden furniture. They finished loading the truck. Once at our new home and the unloading began. They had everything in and put things where they belonged. Asked questions about where to put things. The entire move took less time than the estimate. We were told the mattress would be place to make a wall in the container. Instead it was placed…read morethe long way of the pod away from the wall. Before they left, one of the mover told my husband it should have been put in first and was not. The photos are from the morning after they left. You can visibly see the fold in the Tempur-pedic mattress. When we tried to hold it up to see if we could stabilize it, one of our three pictures we had "professionally" packed was being leaned on by the mattress. The box was bending. The professional packing consisted of two cardboard panels taped together. The frame of our Thomas Kinkad painting was hanging out with the tape on it. We were charged for 5 hours of labor plus for the "professional" packing of the painting. My husband tip the movers in cash. They were nice guys. We let them take a bunch of things we had out our goodwill pile which took away from the time we were charged for labor. I contacted the office the following day via email with the photos attached. The office manager and I corresponded via email. On 9/24, they agreed mattress should have been placed against the wall to ensure the flatness of it and strapped down. She did note we had not rented or purchase any straps from them. The crew did stated to her they thought the picture was more secure than the pictures show and assumed it moved during transport of the MI-BOX. (THE POD HAD NOT BEEN MOVED BETWEEN THEM LEAVING AND WHEN THE PICTURES ATTACHED WERE TAKEN). Included in the office manager's response was: " Typically, College Bound Movers is not liable for items once the doors to the MI-BOX close. Any claims would go against go against your content's insurance. You did provide your homeowners for coverage. As a customer service courtesy, i am going to offer you a customer service refund of one hour labor time and the mattress cover." I responded back to the office manager the same day. The "assumption" on their part that the paintings shifted during transport was not true. The POD had not left the driveway between the time they left & the pictures were taken. It's a week later and there has been no further correspondence from her.

Very fair and competitive with pricing, and the movers are extremely conscientious about taking time to wrap all the items, make sure all the furniture is very well protected and patiently unwrap it and place it where it should be in the next home. I got a lot of confusing information from their rep Regis, mistakes on the quotes, and then a lot of attitude from him as well. When I asked to speak to Santiago I was told "that was a different time"... meaning that the owner no longer talks to customers...he is too big for that now. Never again. USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL....doesn't matter. They do it all. Plus, you can get documents notarized here like the UPS center on D.W. Highway. The thing that doesn't make much sense to me are all the negative reviews. I mean, it's a POSTAL center. How do you bash a postal center? What? Di-...did they take too long to print out your receipt? I just happened by this place as I was in search of a FedEx drop off point. I came here with a label already printed on the box to ship, handed it to the guy, and that was it. Package arrived the very next morning, as promised via the overnight label. Quick, neat, simple. The location is also wicked convenient for us, since it's located in the same outlet vicinity as Market Basket and Chic-Fil-A. If you can't find those two places then I just dunno. ¯\_( ° °)_/¯ So, yeah. NH does consolidated postal centers as opposed to the traditional stand-alone services. No wonder I couldn't find any USPS kiosks in Nashua. Postal Service USA gets 5 packages stamped for overnight delivery out of 5.

Finally was told at 4PM they would be coming the next day. I was taking my daughter to airport that day. I never talked to a person to say that date would not work. They came anyway. Today 8/20 -or 9 days from original delivery date the items were delivered. They came in a large truck. They were plainly instructed to stop truck on pavement and not drive truck on grass. They drove 45 ft onto my grass even as I was standing in my yard waving my arms STOP. Driver was Clueless. Once they unloaded the items into my home (I had paid for White Glove Service) it was fine. Co. attempts to have no direct contact with customer. They leave texts of when delivery will be coming. If that does not work as in my case the attitude is "too bad, not my problem." It was not a good experience. I would not use this company again.

Don't make the same mistake I did. I contracted with Trend Moving to move an antique grandfather…read moreclock from NY to coastal NC. Since their site explicitly says they move clocks, I assumed that they would properly package it for moving too. They picked it up in NH and boxed it up for moving but I mistakenly assumed that they would re-pack it for the trip. It arrived in NC with the internal working still in the body of the clock and with gears askew in the mechanism. Also the pendulum had not been removed and now needs to be soldered back together. When I communicated with my contact at Trend Moving, he informed me that they just move the clock as is from when they pick it up. If you use them to move a clock, have it packed by a professional before they pick it up.
