TLDR took my laptop to Arbor Computers for webcam issue, they told me it was the motherboard and…read morenot worth fixing, returned my laptop with screen falling off and put together incorrectly. I gave them a chance to fix it, they returned the computer still broken and now with cracks in the casing. Now having the time where I did not need the laptop for a while and scared of further damage, I took it to a different store. Here were some of the damages incurred under Arbor Computers care: -Broken backplate -Broken bottom plate -Missing screws -Screen detached and held in place by super thick double sided tape -Damaged cables The business that fixed the damages said they had never seen anything like it and were baffled how Arbor Computers had cocked up such a simply job so badly. They also fixed the camera Arbor Computers deemed unfixable without a $700 motherboard replacement; the motherboard was not the issue, not even close. Once again, if you value your electronics do not take it here, especially not a gaming laptop. They have no idea what they are doing and have no care for client's property.

I didn't want to use Xfinity or AT&T (although Provide.net uses AT&T to provide their service) because I didn't want to be locked in a contract. I am month-to-month. At the beginning of my service, I bought a modem/router for $100 straight from Provide.net. This is great bc I do not pay a rental fee for the modem. I own it and it hasn't outdated in 3 years and I am sure I will get many more years out of it. My service costs me $40 a month. I pay every 3 months at once (this is how they do their billing) but that is fine for me. The service is DSL, but I see no difference between that and fiber/cable, which I have used in the past. Zero difference! So why pay more? I am streaming Netflix on one or two devices at the same time and someone else is probably using the Internet in the house too. The speed is fast. Everyone can do what they need to do. Also, in 3 years, I haven't had bouts of lost connection. The Internet is always working fine. It is 100% reliable. I am thankful for Provide.net because I can walk right into their storefront on Hewitt 10 minutes from my house and talk to a real human if I ever needed, which I don't, but I could. They are also not like corporate Xfinity puppet people, who totally suck! They are real guys who are totally upfront and casual to talk with. I'm never leaving Provide.net and highly recommend it to home Internet users.

The problem turned out to be a minor faulty accessory which they were able to order, replace, and have my computer working in less than a week. The whole thing cost me half of what Best Buy wanted just to look at it. I recommend these guys for all of your computer needs and have been telling everyone to patronize them. My attorney repeatedly remarked that their handling was absolutely unacceptable and disappointing. A short list of issues (from a very long list!) includes continuously responding late to my lawyer, lying on the paperwork that they drafted so my lawyer would have to spend more time (and more of my money) to get them to correct items like my birthdate, income, etc. They dragged things out so much, which I assume is a tactic used to milk their clients for additional hours. Our divorce took almost a year longer than it should have! At one point I had to go their office to retrieve paperwork that they were legally required to submit by a timeline- when I arrived they only printed a fraction of what we were supposed to. Again and again this is how they mismanaged our case. And now, a year after the divorce has been final and they still haven't submitted the paperwork properly to the courts for the dispersion of the pensions (QRDO's). After leaving multiple messages, I finally received a call back from the office who then preceded to connect me to him for a meeting over the phone... he got on the line and literally screamed at me and hung up! So incredibly rude. It is because of his offices mistakes that they continue to cause these issues. I didn't request a phone call meeting with him- all I want to know is where is our QDRO in process!? 2 of the 3 QDRO's are completed and filed in the courts. The 3rd one is just floating in their dysfunctional and disgraceful office. The entire system of divorce attorneys is a complete and utter sham, taking advantage of people who are already struggling thru one of the most difficult periods of their life. This office is inept at representing their own clients, and lacks any sense of decorum. Please save yourself the time, energy and money and find another lawyer that may still rob you, but maybe at least they'll treat you and your soon to be ex-spouse with bit of respect or common decency. Regardless of us filing for divorce- we were married for 30 years and have 3 children together. The least a respectable attorney could do is treat all parties respectfully. Absolutely disgraceful.
