Even when I have had to stop coming and start the wax process over, Jennifer was still willing to take the time needed to make me feel comfortable. She always takes the time to check in and make sure she is waxing the way I'd like to be waxed. Jennifer takes the time to get to know her clients as a person and not just a paycheck. She is always happy and caring. I've been to other studios big and small and have found that Waxing the City and Jennifer have always provided the best service and experience. You can tell that Jennifer knows what she is doing and genuinely cares about her clients and profession. If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would!

I was offered water and quickly completed the necessary form. The waxing specialist was nice. She had an outstanding personality that made me really comfortable which is great since it's a fairly intimate service (depending on what you're there for). The facility was extremely well kept and clean. The only reason I didn't rate a full 5 stars is because I did discover a few spots hair was left when I got home. When paying the higher costs for the service, I wouldn't expect to find any missed patches and there were a few. Overall, I'd give them another try due to the friendly and comfortable atmosphere. If I walk away again with missed patches, at that point I'll explore other options for waxes but I'm optimistic that next go around will be better.

Anyways flash forward the next day(today) and I couldn't open my eyes. There was green/yellow pus (bacterial infection) and my eyes are so red. I texted her the issue, let her know I was seeing a doctor, sent her a picture of my nasty eyes, and then kindly asked for a refund. (I mean who pays for a service and then ends up at a doctor and doesn't request a refund?!) well she replied with she would like a doctors note in order to be refunded. Um? HELLO? Did you not see my eyes?!? I thought it was extremely unprofessional. I wasn't there to fight or argue- I had an eye infection from your services. Long story short I went to the doctor. I haven't been able to see out of my right eye. I'm on antibiotics for the next 7 days and the owner, like a child at school, got her doctor note and refunded me. The doctor stated it was not an irritation but in fact, a bacterial infection from uncleanliness. Gross.

Mia's studio was very clean, organized and aesthetic looking. The low lighting/mood lighting and…read moresoft music made it feel so relaxing and made me want to take a nap! Mia was on time and all of her supplies prepared. I got a deluxe custom facial from her and an eyebrow lamination. She did a skin analysis and used the questions I answered about my skin to determine which facial treatments to give me. I was nervous about the eyebrow lamination because those are easy to mess up, they can either look really good or turn out bad and not last. When I say my brows are PERFECTION, I mean it. No one has done my brows better!! She cleaned them up tweezed around them, did the lamination (the chemicals also didn't even smell that bad which is surprising because they usually do) and then proceeded to map my eyebrows out to shape them! I have gotten my eyebrows laminated many times before and no one paid as much attention to detail or spent time shaping them as much as she did. I am writing a week and a half afterwards and my eyebrows a still look so amazing and the lamination has held perfectly! I can't go to anyone else now! For the facial, I have drier skin and some breakouts and Mia did a lemon honey facial where she cleansed my face, did a chemical exfoliation which burned a bit (as it's supposed to) used her awesome steamer to steam my face which felt amazing and really opened my pores. Then she put a soothing honey mask on and Mia says that her masks and products are all natural and don't contain all those extra chemicals and ingredients other products do. A lot of her products she uses are for sale. She then used her hot and cold face roller technology that felt very nice and cooling. I was surprised she had such fancy equipment. My skin truly felt pampered and so so fresh and clean! My skin was soft afterwards and I felt like I was glowing. I got compliments on my skin and eyebrows afterwards as well. Mia did such a great job, I will definitely come back for those same treatments and also the other variety of services she offers! I highly recommend coming here so that you can feel just as pampered and refreshed.

I've been a manscaper for years, keeping matters in my nether regions trimmed and tidy. However, I…read morehave found it cumbersome and potentially risky to shave the undercarriage and the major furrow. Somehow I stumbled upon the website for Snake Charmer and found they were conveniently close to my neighborhood. For a newbie like me, I found the website to be comforting and reassuring if I were to take the plunge and have my precious parts professionally zipped. The thing that was the deciding factor was an upcoming routine colonoscopy. I felt it to be the perfect opportunity to get the spa treatment and clean up the part of me that was slated to be prodded and probed by a gastroenterology medical team. I planned ahead, noting that the Snake Charmer website recommended at least five weeks growth before getting waxed. I let it all grow out and then set up an appointment several days prior to my medical spelunking procedure. Shelby was my aesthetician who had a very friendly and calming demeanor. I explained that it was my first time to get a "bro-zilian" so she gave me the appropriate stage directions during the process. She was very professional and quick. I didn't have any over-the-top "Kelly Clarkson" outbursts, but the uprooting did require some steely resolve on my end. I am grateful for the treatment Snake Charmer provided. I felt well-treated and am completely satisfied with the results. It curbed some of the worriesomeness of my impending medical procedure and made for smooth sailing!
