Been meaning to try this place in forever, finally got there for new years day breakfast.
Note: Important!! You must check her Face Book postings for current hours menus and bands before hand so you are not disappointed.
They opened at 8am and we arrived alittle after 9am.
The place was packed, cars parked everywhere.
A three piece jazz band was playing in the main dining area, and there were several canopies with tables and chairs set up outside.
NOTE: this place is CASH only.
There is a small bar at the rear of the dining area.
You go up to the lady at a table and pay, grab a plate and utensils then go up to a serving line to get breakfast.
You start with eggs cooked to order, then bacon, potatoes, johnny cakes, salt fish, potato salad, cucumber salad, plantain fritters, sweet potato fritter, collared greens, coffee, tea and OJ
All for $12.00 not a bad breakfast.
Full bar going on, water, sodas, beer, mixed drinks.
Must have been 30 to 50 people eating there during the 1-1/2 hour we were there.
Nice to have another breakfast option on the North Shore. read more
