Mixed Fruit Crepes
Betula F.

Decided to visit Caroline's before my flight back home. This is such a pretty spot. The gold utensils, pink dishware, pink seating was VERY nice and comfy. Mixed Crepes- Very fruity with fresh fruits stuffed inside the crepes topped with a nice blueberry sauce. Eggs- Added my own salt & pepper. Italian Sausage- A little salty. Coffee- Had a little sweet taste that I didn't like so I ordered a cappuccino which was sooooo much better for me. I added two packets of sugar. Orange Juice- GREAT, FRESH and it was NOT sweet. Next time I will order a bigger glass. My experience at Caroline's was relaxing, enjoyable and I will be back. If your in STX Try em!

Food is okay, nothing too crazy about the taste maybe a bit too salty. Service is good was seated right away and food came pretty quick. Ambiance is great, location is on the pier a big plus, overall the experience is not too bad.

Cute little breakfast spot attached to the hotel! Loved the pink decor and the service. I ordered the basic American breakfast of scrambled eggs with sausage and toast and added the side of biscuits with whipped honey butter. The breakfast was as expected with the eggs cooked perfectly and the sausage patties flavorful and lightly seasoned. They give you the option to have a side of either potatoes or fruit with the American breakfast and I chose the fruit. It was fresh. My friend had scrambled eggs with a side of bacon and she said the bacon was cooked until crispy. The disappointment came with the biscuits. They LOOKED amazing, but were not good. They were dense and dry. The taste was very sour and the honey butter didn't help compensate. I was looking forward to them so was pretty sad they were a let down. This place is somewhat pricey for breakfast, but worth it for the quality (besides the biscuits).

A very European breakfast establishment, where you can order things like crepes, eggs Benedict, or goat cheese toast. It is air conditioned! One of the few places on the island! The Benedict was delicious. The goat cheese was great. The salad was precious. Everything was just wonderful. What a great way to start the day. The staff is wonderful. The place is cute and quaint and very pink. There is one clean bathroom.

The location is great, right by the water. It is very cute inside. Like a pink cottage theme. The server was nice. Food did take a while, about 40 mins or so and the place was half empty so it might have been just one cook. The food was tasty and we enjoyed it. Just don't go if you're in a hurry because nothing is rushed.

A super cute place for brunch! Right on the pier. There is an ice cream shop inside too.

Caroline's Breakfast is always our first stop of our trip. You have to start with their beignets and caramel sauce. They are perfection every time. My husband loved his spicy Bloody Mary. The crepes were light and delicious. Our visit was made even better by our server, Sheneka!! She was a joy. This is a must visit!!

Bananas foster, salmon bagel, veg quiche.

Food is fine. Service was really not good. Wasn't just us, the people around us as well. Took forever to get food, waiter was awful...confused orders, had to track him down for coffee, was suppose to bring crepes, brought pancakes, was suppose to bring syrup, gave it to our neighbors even though they already had some. Coffee spilt on the table as it was not stable, never offered to clean it up. Was giving the "I'm going to talk to the kitchen staff today" blame game. And his uniform shirt was filthy stained, not appetizing. Never had service like this here before. Need to better at Caroline's.

Went here for brunch, and unless you get an omelette, this place is not worth it. It is beautiful inside, but the service was very slow. I got the goat cheese and pear toast (was the same price as the omelettes and crepes) and was very disappointed. I got very little food while my friends who ordered the omelettes for the same price left with leftovers. My friend got crepes and also left hungry. Skip if you're not interested in eating an egg-based meal.

Bring the Ladies!! It's brunch time! :) Caroline's, sweet Caroline's.!! This place is definitely IG & photo worthy. It's very small & intimate. The decor here is soooo darling & cute! Hues of pink & green throughout! LOVE IT! The atmosphere is very nice & chill. Perfect spot for a Brunch with the Girls! Or a cute little brunch date spot. The location is awesome!! It's located at the bottom of the King Christian Hotel , right off the Christiansted Boardwalk. Food: We tried quite a few things here! The beignets, for starters!! Yummmmmy! Very well made & fluffy! The chicken & waffles were pretty good. The salmon smoked bagel was delish, bc how can it not be.? The crepes were a bit, mehhh. My friend i& I also ordered one of their cocktails & it was absolutely delish.! It had a scoop of sorbet in it, topped with floral petals. Delightful!! Our server was very sweet & accommodating. We came in a few minuets before the kitchen closing, & we didn't feel super rushed or anything. I'd definitely recommend trying this place. !

Slow service, cheese omelet served cold and cheese not melted. $5 for 1 slice of bread. Over rated to say the least.

We sat at a high top in front of the bar and were greeted immediately. I had the espresso martini and it was sweet and frothy and garnished with shredded chocolate bits. It was the perfect dessert drink. Trevor answered some questions we had about the island and was prompt and pleasant through checkout. Once your eyes have adjusted, you can start reading the truly extensive cocktail menu. There are both classic tiki and newer creations available, and during happy hour, some of the simpler drinks (like Mai Tais) are discounted. If you are new to tiki, you might get frustrated with some of the service times, but each drink can be so complex, they take a little longer than your average rail to make (but it's worth it for the layered flavors). Breaker's Roar is my favorite bar in Christiansted, and it is great either as a first drink of the night spot, or as a final hurrah. I have never had a bad drink from them, and I don't even have a favorite, everything I have tried is so delicious. Each drink also comes in a carefully selected vessel, and that id definitely part of the equation in placing an order. The last time we went, there was also a small bites menu that was a pleasant surprise. We liked the two plates we tried, but already had dinner reservations. Next time we go back, we plan to eat a full meal. This place is a must if you are on the boardwalk!

We chose a sunset seating and the pictures are unreal. one of the most beautiful restaurant views because the water is right there- if you sit on the lower patio you might get sprayed a little! I asked for a creamy espresso martini and the bartender got it perfect- I ordered two! The other cocktails were good as well. The hot crab dip was amazing! I loved that the pumpkin pasts wasn't overwhelmingly pumpkin- it was just perfectly balanced. All of the vegetables and sauces on the Buddha's feast were delicious, but since it was just vegetables, I wish there had been more volume because event after sharing an app I was still hungry. We got the rum cake for desert, and we LOVE rum cake. However, if you had told me this was just chocolate cake, I would have believed it. It needed much more rum/syrup! Still a great meal in a fantastic setting, and we will be going back!

The food. MEH. I love carpaccio but this was underwhelming and didn't have enough acidity to balance the plate. I ordered the lobster pasta. Wow -what a disappointment. The lobster was over cooked and chewy. The sauce (bisque) was flavorless and needed salt and a bit of heavy cream badly. The pasta was way past al dente. Had to ask for bread- was told "had to see if they had enough for a side of bread." Ran out of risotto for a 730 pm reservation. Offered two specials but I had to ask the price. (Pet peeve--tell me the special price). And then the server wasn't sure and had to go ask. Go only for the location and view --not the food. The mocktails were both delicious. Points for having a mocktail list!

Truly each of these dishes had something special about them and were all FANTASTIC! Presentation, texture, flavor all amazing. I still think about the Brie five days later writing this review. I wish I took more photos! For entree I had the steak. It was a New York Strip with house made chimichurri, and a sweet potato mash. Wow it was the best steak I've had in a long time. All the flavors on the plate complimented each other so beautifully. Again, I wish I took more pictures!! Dessert was a delight all on its own. The Crème Brûlée was smooooooth as can be. Not a single lump or bump. The plantain foster really did steal the spotlight on the dessert. It was warm and gooey and flavorful and perfect! There was some foster sauce left over that we ended up mixing with some crème brûlée and it was heaven.
