    Clam chowder

This place is great! We didn't have a reservation so we sat at the bar, but I didn't mind because we got a great bartender who made excellent mocktails. Very creamy and tasty clam chowder. My friend and I also shared the goat cheese salad which was excellent. We created our own surf and turf by ordering a lobster tail and the filet mignon. Both excellent, I got too full trying to eat the entire lobster tail. A casual but upscale kind of place, I would say good for a group dinner or a date night.

We've heard good things about the restaurant and finally decided to give it a try. The food was good and the place empty the night we dined but started to pick up when we left. The seafood pasta dish was flavorful. One of the mussel shell was broken and I didn't think anything of it until I had some pasta and broken shell was in it. Not a pleasant experience to crunch on shell pieces. The shrimp still had tails on and ended up crunching on one of those too. Not disappointed we tried it but would rather visit Ama at Cane Bay.

Everything was amazing! We split a few apps - risotto balls & lamb. The Caesar salad had the perfect amount of dressing & a hefty portion of lettuce. I got the surf & turf. The filet came with a herb butter candle on top which was so unique. We tried a couple desserts. The whipped cream was so thick & fluffy on both.

The still managed to take a 20% tip even though the served raw contaminated for to the party..Leaving the party member hungry and sick..

FOOD POISON ALERT!!!DO NOT ORDER THE LOBSTER!!!! BEWARE!!!!!! Keisha The Manager Could Careless.. They Had a dirty house fan blowing smoke and fumes from the cooking area in our face.. Came for a birthday party.. Ordered the 8 ounce lobster with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Halfway through the meal, it was discovered that the lobster was Raw and uncooked. We told the waiter and he snatched the food up when he came back. He advised us that they will take it off the order. No apologies or nor did he ask if the customer wanted anything else to eat..The person that ordered the lobster only ate a small portion, but they mistakenly ate some of the Raw Lobster..So they were still hungry and nothing was done. Mind you it was a party so everyone ate except for this young lady. The manager never came over to apologize nor did the waiter apologize. After the meal was done I had to call the manager to the front. Keisha came and was very short. I advised her that raw lobster carries parasites and bacteria that can cause food poisoning. I asked why she never came to the table to check on her customer.. Keisha advise she lets the server handle those type of problems. Keisha's attitude reflected the raw food that was served. When I ask her for her card she refuse to give me any kind of information but her name..Not only did they serve a customer raw food that contaminated the whole plate.. The customer left Hamilton's hungry and woke up having to vomit.. Didn't ask us for contact information or give us any. All they will do is any this review which doesn't fix her eating RAW food , not being offered anything else to eat and not caring that someone eat an contaminated meal with no information to contact them..Horrible leadership..Horrible food...Horrible People..Do Not Eat At Hamilton's...This review will also be posted to Facebook..

When you manage to get a reservation here through IG, you won't be sorry. When you get there, however, take a breath and settle in. Service is great, but they are not at a frenetic pace. It's kinda like you're the passenger in a ride in the countryside and they have the wheel. Which is a good thing! Let go of your A-type personality and let it happen. Again, you won't be sorry. One of the reasons it is more of an experience is the chef is making the meal perfectly. I had THE BEST STEAK. I would rank it in the top three I've ever had. Cooked perfectly. The ambiance is casual. We dressed up a little because (collared shirt and long pants for me). I'm glad I did. The place had a little bit of an upscale vibe.

5 star dinner experience! Upon walking in you are graciously greeted for your patronage. Staff is extremely friendly, courteous and attentive. Open dining room concept with neutral colors and warm lighting. Food is amazing! We ordered the Surf & Turf, Seafood Pasta and Open Shrimp Sandwich on home made crostini. Costs are moderately higher than other restaurants but the prices matches the quality & portion size of the dishes. Service was impeccable and the choices of desserts were delectable. Restaurant is both cozy, casual but can be romantic for that special occasion. Big Fan!

This place was remarkable. The experience was amazing like none others I hadn't had in a while. I was trying to make a reservation prior but was unable to since I'm so used to OpenTable so when my daughter and I arrived on Sunday for her birthday dinner before we left the island we were told there was no availability however when we went to exit the angel of a manager Dwayne made preparations for us to be seated and served for that I am so grateful. The waiters Kevin and Alex were so nice and courteous continuously checking on us to make sure everything was to our liking. Also their bartender was so sweet and funny though I didn't get his name. The atmosphere was great I absolutely recommend. The art and history was beautiful. You must go to this restaurant if you visit experience 10/10 with great pricing as well!

Wonderful ambiance. Great service. Spectacular food. My husband had a 16oz steak that was cooked to perfection. I normally wouldn't write a review about a salad, but their caesar salad was one of rhetorical best I've ever had. It has the perfect amount of dressing! I would say given it's a main course, the salad wasn't that big, but it worked.

It took a while for the hostess to come over to attend our reservation and help us get seated. Its a large and lively space with inside, outside and courtyard seating. Once seated inside, the server too took a while to attend to us. We ordered Mussels for appetizer and it was absolutely great. The broth was tasty and the mussels were delicious. I had the love potion and it was a very delicious drink. My husband didnt enjoy his old fashioned as much and mentioned it didnt have the required sweetness. For dinner we ordered salmon that came with mashed potatoes, cheese burger and plate of ribs. My son thought the burger was one of his favorite gourmet burgers ever. The salmon was well cooked and had a good crust but could have had a little more flavor to it. Feedback on ribs was that it was just okay. We had to be somewhere for an appointment after the dinner and thought that 90 mins was enough to finish dinner but the service was going a bit slow...we ordered few desserts to carry out and they were out of an item, which meant the process took a bit. It seemed like the server was trying to keep up but it was very busy and the space being so large meant she had to go a longer distance, so I sympathize with the time taken, but made us anxious. They also seem to have one restroom for that giant space and that was causing a lot of people to just wait in the hallway for what seemed forever, to use the restroom. Overall food is good but pricey, service could be improved and another restroom should definitely be figured out.

However, that excitement disappeared very quickly. Every seat was full when we walked in -- totally fine, we expected to wait. What we didn't expect was to stand there for 10-15 minutes without a single acknowledgment. No "welcome in," no "we'll be right with you," no explanation of whether we seat ourselves or wait. Literally nothing. Just... ignored. As tables opened up, still nothing. No guidance, no eye contact, no words. We're just standing there like ... wondering if we accidentally walked into a place where customers aren't supposed to exist. Then a woman who I assume is the owner (Sam) barges in already radiating this rude, egotistical energy. She walks straight past us and warmly greets another table. Whatever--maybe she knew them! She's clearly frazzled, so we take a few minutes before we politely ask if we can take two empty seats nearby. She looks up and goes, "What??" then looks back down and says, "I need five minutes. Can you just give me five minutes before I do anything?" Sighs. And goes back to whatever was more important than taking two seconds to kindly seat two customers. Like, ?? LOL At this point, we wait long enough for that table that she greeted nicely to pay, get up, and leave. Still not a single kind word from anyone. Since nobody bothered to tell us how this place works, we finally seat ourselves. From there, service is slow -- which honestly didn't bother us. Island time is island time. What did bother us was the nonstop condescending, rude tone from this woman the entire time. The way she spoke to everyone made it seem like she thought she was the center of the universe, and we were just... inconveniences. The food was good, though! Can't beat down on that tbh. That's why this review is 2 s instead of 1. To top it all off, when we're finished and ready to pay, she comes over and says, "You ready to go?" We smile and say yes. She drops the payment terminal on the table and walks away without another word. No "thank you," no "how was everything," no acknowledgment that we were even human beings. Like, not even a smile??? There was just no string of kindness anywhere... My suggestion: skip this place and skip the nasty attitude. There are plenty of other spots that won't make you feel uncomfortable just for existing.
