He stated that his company would install a Zoeller cast iron submersible primary sump pump... plugged into the wall & a install a Aqua Marine battery operated secondary pump....Tie both systems into an alarm system. Installed a new check valve on discharge line marine battery...all for a significant lower price than Michael & Son. This installation included a 3 year warranty. He informed me that he could come to my home the very next morning. Sure enough, he arrived as promised-reiterated what was going to be done & completed the job. I received my receipt for the work that was completed and the warranty information all via email which is great! In the end, he installed higher quality materials than the original contractors had used, gave me recommendations for how to ensure no more breaks, and because he's a smaller shop without all the overhead of the big boys, charged me a very fair fee for the work, cheaper than what I've paid for emergency service in the past. He mentioned they may only be able to do the consultation since they had another job, so from the very start I felt like we were receiving rushed service. Dan and his apprentice spent a little less than an hour knocking holes in our drywall (in one closet he just started hitting the wall with a hammer) only to make his way up to the attic to tell me we had a roof leak. As I had mentioned in my original consultation, this was in fact a vent pipe leak that I would have been happy to pay to have addressed. Instead, we went through two roof consultations before I crawled up in the attic and fixed the vent pipe myself. I tried to reach out to Dan to let him know this was actually a plumbing issue and received no response. We found TNT through one of the Yelp project requests and I deeply regret choosing them as opposed to some of our other options. Between the price paid, the lazy investigation of the pipe, and the lack of response when I reached out to have the situation rectified, I am seriously disappointed with their service.
