It felt very light, almost like a beginner was giving the massage. Definitely not worth the upgrade. 2. The therapist left the room 4 or 5 times during the session. While two of those times were understandable, only once did she clearly explain where she was going. At one point, it seemed like she was more focused on her tip than on providing a quality massage. I'm giving this place 2 stars only because my first visit was truly excellent. However, after today, I don't think I'll be returning or recommending it.

Very convenient if you live close by like we do. Parking: I come to Sephora often which is right next door so there is always ample parking. Staff: front desk staff were friendly and greeted me upon arrival. Mersha - was my therapist. Experience: only caveat was that I was booked with Derick at 3:15 and apparently he didn't work on Saturday which was Valentine's Day. Mersha was waiting for me at 3 but I was taking my time because I figured I was early. No one informed her or I that my appt was moved up and my massage was cut 15 minutes early which no one apologized for. Again, I didn't fault my therapist but the staff should have informed me or my partner initially and I could have arrived earlier to get my full experience. I actually picked this spa because it had good ratings in the area. The spa itself is very clean, well decorated, the front desk staff were friendly and my massage therapist was friendly. But the service I got I feel cheated out of my money for. I basically paid to have someone slather lotion all over my body and nothing more. There was no massage technique used, and it seemed on multiple occasions my therapist was either distracted by something or falling asleep because her hands would frequently just go still on my body for several seconds before starting up again. It was awkward and I wasn't sure if I should ask her what's going on or not, lol. Like I genuinely feel like I paid someone random and completely untrained off the street to give me a massage. I left with my hair in mats too because the scalp massage was basically just her twirling her fingers around in my hair and tangling it up. My experience was only with one massage therapist, so it's very possible that the other ones working there are great at their jobs. But I definitely want to spend money on a massage that doesn't have me considering getting up and walking out halfway through again I'm not saying don't go here but definitely proceed with caution if you're expecting formal massage technique.
