FYI ramyun is the cheapest thing on the menu at the Korean place on the top floor & while it was good, it was clearly just instant ramyun that they charged $12 for. Next time I think I will just spring for something a little pricier. Couple of tips: It's both cheaper to go on weekdays & much less crowded. I would bring a change of clothes to wear under your robe. That way if you decide to go to the pool first, you can change out of your swimsuit to do saunas later. (Although plenty of folks just wear their swimsuit to the sauna!) Some folks say to bring a towel, but know they do provide full size towels & you can get fresh ones as needed in the locker room. If you plan to be there all day, I also recommend bringing a charger!

I realized I was being included in her recording and asked her to please stop because I did NOT consent to being filmed. Instead of simply respecting my request, she told me that I had an "attitude problem." She then went to the concierge and apparently received permission from a staff member to continue recording. She actually came BACK to where I was, started recording me again, told me, "I can keep recording," and called me "Karen." At that point, this no longer felt like someone casually taking a video at a spa. I felt deliberately targeted and humiliated. She also made a point of telling me that she gets "millions of views." I honestly don't care whether someone has 10 views or 10 million. Being popular on social media does not make another paying guest's discomfort irrelevant. What makes this experience especially disappointing is Spa Castle's response. I spoke with management and was told they could not make her delete the video. I understand that management may have limitations regarding someone's personal phone, but I cannot understand why a guest who had already been told directly that I did not want to be recorded was apparently allowed to return and continue filming and confronting me. I paid to come to a SPA--to relax and feel comfortable. Instead, I felt exposed, embarrassed, and completely unsupported. I was so overwhelmed by the entire interaction that I cried there, and then sat in my car afterward crying again. I can't remember the last time a business experience made me feel this humiliated. Spa Castle seriously needs a clear filming policy. There is a huge difference between taking a photo or video of yourself and deliberately continuing to record another guest after that person has specifically asked you to stop. People come to a spa expecting some level of comfort and relaxation. Nobody should have to wonder whether they're going to become unwilling content for somebody else's social media account. I'm incredibly disappointed with how this was handled.

When I called Tuesday at noon when no one showed up at first they confirmed yes they were late, and then called back later to say "we had confusion and they were to come on Thursday". They obviously do not care about customers and even after I canceled my service appointment no one still called to apologize. (My husband is an engineer and I am an attorney, so, we research "projects" to the max!) We purchased a Marquis spa and Weber grill from Southern Leisure. Store Manager Garrett was very knowledgeable and helped us decide on the perfect spa and grill for us! The purchase, delivery, and installation of the spa went perfectly. Garrett and his team, including Josh, did everything they promised and on a very timely basis. We were also impressed with the professionalism of the team, as well as the detailed instructions on how to operate and maintain our beautiful spa. Everyone took all the time we asked for, to explain everything and never made us feel rushed. The spa is awesome and beautiful! After our nightly spa session, we both sleep so much better. We no longer awaken during the night and sleep peacefully until the morning. In addition, spa sessions are especially therapeutic after physical work-out sessions, to relax our muscles! They have servers that come around to take drink or food orders on occasion. Sometimes you have to flag someone down or go order at the bar because they aren't great about coming around regularly. You can charge things to your room or use your member number if you're a member at TPC. Food is ok here. It takes about 30-40 minutes to get your food after placing an order. Drinks take anywhere from 15-20 minutes to receive after ordering. The basil smash, frozen lemonade and frozen sangria are some of my favs. If you have a food allergy they are able to cater to it. They have gluten free bread available upon request. If you come on a holiday weekend be sure to get your name down on the chair reservation list ASAP or you'll end up waiting hours for a chair to free up. It's a good mix of people here so it's great people watching. Overall a decent pool to hangout at. The pool isn't chilled like the members pool so in the summer the water does get to feeling like bath water. But warm water is better than no water!

Coleman left me with the impression to go fix it myself and have ignored my other calls and messages and email. I can go into more detail after seeing if the corporate office comes to a resolve on this problem and I will finished the whole review. Some times the truth does more damage to this business reputation. Let's see if they can save it. Caldera Spa of California contacted me today; they offered a remedy and if it turns out to be true. My parents live in Decatur and went to Grapevine to get better service and now they wish they would have gone somewhere else. We bought a 27" round above ground pool. The salesman told us it would arrive in 7-10 business day. Well, that came and went. When we called to set up installation. The pool still wasn't in and we were told it usually takes 4 weeks to arrive, by that time it was 4 weeks. So it finally gets in. We went with the installers that they recommend. BIG MISTAKE! The first thing they tell us there is going to be a $200 trip charge for coming out here ( which they could have gone further in the metroplex and probably wouldn't have charged). On the day of installation, it started raining pretty hard. They continued with the installation process. They had to finally pack up due to the rain because they lowered the pool two inches into the ground and everything was so muddy due to the rain they had to wait for it to dry before putting the dirt back in the space between the pool. Well as they were leaving, me and my mom noticed a huge bubble in the middle of the pool. But we assumed these guys knew what they were doing and that it wouldn't harm anything. Well a couple of days later they came back to complete the job and the liner is now stretched out because they left it like that. They tried to smooth out the creases on the bottom, but ultimately couldn't because the liner was stretched. Our options were to have creases on the bottom or wait for a new liner. Which would probably take another 4 weeks and that would be the end of summer. We called Coleman and spoke with the Sales Manager about this and first, he seemed to busy to even be bothered by this. It was a Friday or Saturday and he said he would call us on Monday and discuss further. We decided to just let them finish the job and discuss further with the Coleman people on Monday about our options. The installers left a huge mess! They didn't pack the dirt back around the pool, they didn't show us how to use the pump. They didn't tell us how to install the ladder. Nothing. These guys were done with us. Coleman never called us, we called them and got "Well it's no ones fault". ACTUALLY, IT IS. It's the installers fault that they recommended!! They should have stopped when it started raining... we spent all this money and our liner now has creases on the bottom. Coleman could care less about making it right. It's been two weeks and hasn't called us back. These people do not care about customer service...look elsewhere for your pool needs.

One scheduled a visit to look at it three weeks out. My fifth call was to Jim at Authentic Plaster and Tile. He came out that same day, sat down with me by the pool, and described exactly what the process would be. His price was within my budget, so I added a Water Feature to the work he was to perform. They were able to start in a little over a weeks' time and completed all work within a week. The new blue quartz finish and the water feature are beautiful! Last year we started to notice some pitting which became worse this year. I called Jim Pierce to discuss and he told me that the pool is out of warranty and they are not responsible. We have had the pool for over 21 years and the original plaster lasted over 15 years. Authentic Plaster lasted less than 5 years. Don't use Authentic Plaster if you expect the work to last for any length of time.
