I've been swimming here since I was a child and took classes here…read more It's a 50 meter outdoor pool (indoor for the winter) but during the summer the pool is split with large panel that separates the deep end from the shallow end. It's a very clean pool and not expensive to get in or get a pass. During the summer it gets packed on weekends, the shallow end has less lanes because half are no lanes just open for kids to play. Due to this, the shallow lanes can be packed with up 5 swimmers. Overall I still love this pool for the price. Occasionally, the hours are changed for meets or practice for aquatic acrobats/dancers.

I went out of my way to drop off my application in person and when I called to check in they said they would have to look for it. This was at the end of May. I called almost a week later and was told by Celeste the person in charge of party rentals, that my application was lost. I asked multiple times if the date requested was still available. She went ahead and booked me June 7th. I made my payment that same week. I receive a confirmation email, I also received a reminder two days prior to the event. I went out of my way to buy balloon decor since we would be inside. I had a whole balloon garland, backdrop ordered. I had table covers dessert trays, food and table decor. So you could understand how DISTRAUGHT I felt when I received a call on June 28th around 2:45 pm 1 hour prior to our party to let me know that it was an error and I was double booked. They had over 2 weeks to notify me. I was then told that I would be refunded and that I could be outside at the tables. They didn't even offer me a private pavilion. I had to set up at a table next to the lazy river. My desserts? Melted and ruined. Party decor? Unable to return and all of the money I wasted will not be refunded. I should have seen the red flags from the beginning but I truly just wanted my 5 year old daughter to have a great party. Anyway please think twice or definitely be on top of your reservation because these people are unprofessional and don't care about your money or time. They will literally play with your livelihood and refuse to talk to you after. I was told I'd need to send an email because the managers are too busy. Please do better and be considerate of people and their families. You would be upset if it happened to one of you. Completely unacceptable to say the least.

I have been at the pool the last 3 weekends (4 Xs total) this Summer and it is truly 5 stars! The check in is super easy. I paid $5 each time (a discount for C.Hill) residents as well as your guest. They do take cash or card which is convenient. The line is never long, really non existent most of the time. Parking is a breeze especially if you get there for open swim which begins at 12 noon. The majority of the lounge chairs are shaded and you don't have to worry about anyone taking/moving your belongings as you enjoy the water. The lazy river is extremely clean and well kept and the floaties are in abundance and FREE! Everyone is respectful in the pool! At any given time there can be newborn babies to the seniors and every age in between so being courteous is just as important as having fun! The music is great too! They play EVERYTHING including Spanish songs on Cedar Hill Tunes. There is one lazy river, one slide which is so much fun and never a long line, as well as a larger pool that is wheelchair assessable too. It was in this pool that my BF taught me to swim this Summer so the Cedar Hill Lagoon will forever be memorable to me! They also have about 7 cabanas that you can rent out for your private event. The bathrooms have great air flow and are pretty well kept with no trash on the ground an I definitely appreciated the cleanliness. They also have showers too. The lifeguards are also professional and they appear to have fun too. There is food available if you get hungry. A CH police officer does make his/her round at the pool too so it definitely makes you feel safe an at ease. I hope the Lagoon continues to be a fun, clean, memorable place for my future summers!

Terrible gym. Incompetent and rude staff. First time I've been kicked off a machine in 30 years of…read moreworking out in gyms across the world...literally while in the middle of my set by an employee unracking my weights and telling me to get off cause they are moving the exact machine I was currently using,.. I only had two sets left, mind you, and my sweater was on machine, I was getting ready to sit in it and use it, and the employee starts unracking my weights. I said "excuse me, I am using this and he said well we are moving it"! Never ever would this happen at 24 hour fitness or any other commercial big or small private gym. They know how to put their patrons first at those other places. IF he actually was taught to put members first, he would've let me finish the extra three minutes it would have taken me to complete my sets... never going back here. Or they could've put a sign to not use machine, like all other gyms in the world do. I have been a personal trainer all my life and never have I witnessed anything like what happened to me here today. If you're serious about your workouts and your time in the gym, don't bother with this incompetent staff that doesn't know how to put paying members first. What I experienced today is like eating at a restaurant and while you're in the middle of taking a bite of your half eaten burger, the waiter comes to your table and grabs your plate with your fries from underneath you. Who does that? LOL.
