BEWARE! Dishonest, in a word. I took 94 items in for resale. The owner, Casey, said no thanks to a few, and Eventually a few items came back to me, in all fourteen items sold. It took weeks for my things to be put out for sale, and there was always a "reason" that things weren't out yet or not returned. 70 something items went missing. The owner, Casey, does not return phone calls, though I made numerous attempts, nor did she respond to messages that I left in person at the store, and those were numerous as well. I stipulated in my contract that all items not sold should be returned, and yet they were not. In addition, to Casey's advantage, the contract says that the store is not responsible for items left more than thirty days, so if she loses or keeps things , she has no responsibility at all. It has been a year since I consigned with Casey at Switch Boutiqe, and she has never responded to my inquiries. She simply stole my consignments and kept the profits. If I had intended to donate my things, it would have been to charity!
I am far from the only person to whom this has happened, and she has developed a bad reputation based on these repeated behaviors. Even one star is too much for this business and its owner. read more
