I understand wholeheartedly that security measures have to be put in place, but negatively assuming my reason for entering the store is not good for business. With the gossamer curtains welcoming you as you enter, it felt like walking into a life-sized Barbie's dream shop! Not quite as many clothing options as I was hoping for, but the ones they had were definitely modern fashions. It was the accessories that will keep me coming back, though. Some of the cutest jewelry, tumblers, candles, car coasters, etc. adorn the glass and wooden shelving. Place was clean and sanitized with staff wearing masks for my safety. Also, we were told that the dressing rooms were open now and they are steam cleaned after every use. We were greeted warmly upon entry and were introduced to the different sections of the store. All in all a good experience, even though we didn't find any clothing that suited us. But, we'll be back for those accessories!

For those curious which side of friendly - it's on the new side across from Harris Teeter in the little line of shops by Altar'd estate. I was looking for some cute new tops to wear on camera for WFH and walked out with more! While they're mainly stocked with cute clothes with amazing prices, they also have Packed Party accessory brand which I love, jewelry, a little baby clothes section and gift/trinket items to purchase. They even had a nice sale section called the pink dot which has everything marked down to $15!! The associate working was super welcoming and friendly too! I'll def go back especially for their pink dot sale section!!

Many of these types of boutiques are a dying breed . They sell jewelry, clothing, accessories and the crown jewel is the freezers of gourmet food and the personal service of the staff. They are located in the strip mall on Lawndale amongst other assorted businesses . The freezers house a wide selection of regional items from appetizers of dip, delectable country ham rolls, wide range of entrees such as quiche, pot pies, casseroles and yummy desserts of pies and cakes. These specialty items are good quality and convenient if you need a quick dinner , cocktail party or dinner guests . The staff are friendly, helpful and you get that special touch that is absent from online ordering . It is always a treat when I go in and I feel special when I leave .

There was hand sanitizer available by the escalators. I did notice that the escalators were narrow. While simply just browsing, someone did ask if he needed any help, which he didn't. Backstage has a BUNCH of stuff. So, I would definitely recommend going there FIRST before shopping in the regular area. Ultimately, we left and went to another store to continue the search.

Clothing is always strewn everywhere, shelves are disorganized, and the words "neat and tidy" have no connection to this retailer. Imagine shelves of stacked shirts; someone pulls one out from the bottom, opens it up, and then shoves it back on top of the stack wadded up. No,w repeat that with the next one on the bottom, etc., and that is pretty much how the shelves are. The racks are the same, with stuff on the floors, hanging over the top of the racks, hanging by one end of a hanger, etc. Even the jewelry and watches in cases are not neat or aligned. Finding an employee here is like panning for gold in the Pacific Ocean, which is probably why nobody is around to clean things up. Finding a cashier is even more challenging than that. And when you do find an open cashier, expect silly lines. On this visit, there was a place with 3 cash registers but only 1 cashier and 9 people in line in front of us. Macy's is trying to emulate WalMart and doing a fine job. The only reason we stayed in line was that our granddaughter ate a bite of a lollipop so we needed to pay for it. We have stopped going to Macy's; this was the last time we went to one. Pretty much the only thing you find there now is store brands and clutter. You are better off going to Nordstrom, Saks, Neiman Marcus, or smaller stores like Black Market, White House, Ann Taylor, Talbot's, etc. Two stars and sadness at what this brand has become.

Today (Thursday) they have regular hours. The main store is higher end ladies wear. The designs and colors are different than available in other shops in the area so they offer a unique experience. I saw several tops and jackets that were stunning but since I've moved out into a rural area I would have no opportunity to wear these styles. They clearly serve a niche market in the main store. They have about half the store loaded with 50% off items including a huge selection of jeans, dresses, tops, some shoes and vintage items. I didn't take time to look through the racks so I really can't comment on the products offered there. It seems like an odd transition from the main room, but interesting nonetheless. There was one lady working today. She was very pleasant and made me feel welcome. It's not a shop with broad market appeal due to the price point but if you want to treat yourself to something special it's definitely worth a visit.
