Originally this was going to be a 1 star review however Aiden changed all that. I originally was…read moreapproached by a gentleman who was bald and glasses (sorry did not offer his name) with a black polo shirt. I explained my project and he seemed disinterested in the idea and gave short one word answered and walked away. Seemed to care more about sorting rocket engines and helping a customer who was looking at a new rc car than myself or my son. Went to ask someone else for help. Aiden listened to our ideas and we needed. He went to work to provide us with the materials we needed and was very kind to myself and my son Aiden single handedly saved our experience. From my observations the black polo shirt gentleman seemed to be management - where I think Aiden would have been a better manager. Hobby stores are hard to come by these days and this experience could have easily converted me to seek guidance online, however Aiden changed this. Please go to this store for Aiden. But avoid the guy in the black polo shirt belongs in the tool selection.

I drove about 30 minutes out to HobbyTown Corona specifically because I was told yesterday that the…read more"Squeezy's" would be available today after 4 PM once they were scanned into the system and put out. I rearranged my schedule and made time to come back based on what your staff told me. When I arrived today, I was told they still weren't out yet. When I asked if there was anything they could do since I was specifically instructed to come back at that time, the employee at the front basically acted indifferent and just said there was nothing they could do. I've been in retail for years, and entering inventory into a system is not some massive impossible task. This honestly came across as laziness and a complete lack of concern for customer satisfaction. Don't tell customers to come back at a specific time if you're not actually prepared to follow through. Traffic and gas prices in Southern California are terrible. People are spending real time and money to come support your business, so at least be considerate of that when making promises to customers. I understand inventory processing takes time, but communication and effort matter. A simple apology or attempt to help would have gone a long way. The store is large and packed with product, but there also weren't many customers there, which makes the lack of urgency even more frustrating. The owner should seriously consider improving management and customer service standards because experiences like this are exactly why customers stop coming back.

To be honest, I was drawn to this store because of their massive selection of Funko Pops! So I…read moredidn't pay too much attention to the other stuff they were selling if you're interested in a review about the other things. If you're looking for a certain Pop Figure, check here first because they might have it! They have a huge range of figures from movies, comics, games, and ANIME. The figures are $10 each or you can get 3 for $27. I had a great time here. I'm currently collecting the One Piece series, and if I wasn't broke, I could've definitely completed the remaining figures I needed by just being here for a great deal. Also regarding customer service, the young guy at the counter is a great guy. I'm the type of person who doesn't like being bothered when I shop. If I need help, I'll ask for it. He didn't bother me because I already knew what I was here for. BUT, I do realise many people are not like me and LOVE to engage in conversation. The young man did a great job at conversing too. While I was shopping, two older men were engaging in a very fun looking conversation with the young man at the counter about a certain comic series or something. (Wasn't too interested because I like anime.) The point is, those two men were happy with his conversational skills and he seems knowledgable.

They're scattered throughout the store. So... you could find a name comic like Superman, in several different places. *** Also, there is NO Wednesday drop of new comics here.
