Good selection of the big name newer stuff, and lots of up and coming indies. Great atmosphere and just a pleasant place to look around and decide what you want to read next. They give good recommendations and are extremely helpful. I still wish they had a dollar bin. However I feel lucky to have such a nice shop near by full of great people.

Totally fine, it's a one‑time fee, not a monthly situation but we're just not ready to invest in that level of comic commitment yet. Prices were reasonable: about seven bucks for most issues and one $35 comic my son proudly bought with his own money. I let him live his best life. The plot twist came a week later when he sat down to read everything... and realized he accidentally bought three copies of the same comic because the covers were different. Variant covers: 1. Newbies: 0. A tiny heads‑up from the cashier would've saved us from the accidental collector's edition starter pack. It felt like she was being intentionally difficult. She also told us she was working alone, but there was a guy behind the counter too -- and he was actually nice and polite, which made the whole situation even more confusing. They told me I had a place in Riverside and I should shop there, so I did not have to carry stuff home. When I met the manager at the time, Tony, he was positive and enthusiastic. No bad talk is going on in the store. Everyone was so ready to show what they worked on, and it made me feel like part of the hobby.
