Ordered 2 orders of their 10 pack face masks for $25 each. It's been nearly 4 weeks and It has yet to be shipped out. Not only that, but the product I ordered looked vastly different than what is now being produced. They removed the original pictures of the face masks from their site and replaced them with several "alternative styles". Check out the pictures to see what should have been, and what it is now. Ordered the 10 for $25 masks as going to need to start going out more, school starting back up and all. While Amazon Prime has gotten us all used to not paying for shipping, even with the fairly pricey shipping still not a bad deal. They seem to be well made, as expected from a company that does this sort of thing. Some of the stitching on the ear loops gets a bit crazy. As other mention it is as if I am wearing one cup of a bikini top on my face, I should have gotten the all black for my parents. For what they are, they are okay. Comfortable, breathable, and about the same light transmission as low end sheets (which is what my home made ones are made with), more than two layers of t-shirt. I think they are sufficient for this new realm of masking up in public, they don't purport to be anything more. We'll see how they hold up to use and washing, compared to my home made and other purpose build masks, but probably similar to a swim suit just be washed slightly more frequently. read more

Well this is a first. Drove all the way to the mall just to find a bathing suit at this store. 5 1/2 months preg, it's December and I'm leaving for Hawaii in 3 days. There aren't many options for swimwear in December. 11am on a Friday and there's a sign on the door that they will be back in 30 min. Does not say what time they left... I tried calling but the line just keeps ringing. [edit] So I was super annoyed about driving out to find the store was closed but I waited about 15-20 minutes and the fitting specialist, Nicole, returned. She was apologetic for being gone for that brief period and very friendly. Nicole was very knowledgeable about the different styles and knew off-hand which ones tended to run small. This was very helpful. While I was in the fitting room corporate called and gave me a much appreciated discount for the inconvenience of waiting. Honestly I don't think it could have been handled better. Happy to say I left with a gorgeous suit. read more

I bought masks almost 3 weeks ago as it was their "final sale" I have yet to receive them. No tracking info was given and they are "supposed" to be shipped with FedEx Ground. I bought it when it was $10 with an additional 9 bucks for shipping and taxes. I revisited the website a few weeks ago and they increased the base price from $10 to $25 and keep in mind that shipping is an additional 8 bucks or so. I emailed them a few days ago from my sisters email and I haven't heard back. I don't give a damn just cause they put a notice on their website that they won't be responding to customers. Poor business practices! Once this pandemic clears I'm going to report them to the state and their local county. I hope more people that got stiffed by this company reviews you greedy imbeciles on yelp. And no I will be not changing my review if I were to get the masks or a reply through email or on here. Most importantly, the ladies who work here Sarah (the manager), the other Sarah and Jasmine are extremely helpful. This company honestly deserves a negative star rating. I ordered two 10 packs of masks for myself and my parents. Not only did it take over 3 weeks to receive our masks, I had to email customer service multiple times basically begging for an update. Finally, an actual person, Holly, responded to me and shipped the masks that day. I can't even describe my reaction when I opened the package of these so-called masks. They are basically shreddings of old swimsuits, cut in the shape of mask. Many of them too small to even cover my face. I have already emailed customer service/Holly requesting a refund for all these swimsuit scraps I recieved. These are not what was featured on their website and definitely aren't the masks the model was wearing in the photos when I placed my orders. SWIMSPOT - you should be ashamed of yourself for taking money from people during a NATIONAL EMERGENCY and GLOBAL PANDEMIC. I'm sure this isn't the last negative review you'll receive. I order facemasks from Swimspot and I received it yesterday. When I opened the package I was so underwhelmed by the shotty workmanship on them. Lasercut my ass. Looks like you need a new blade in your old cutter. thread strains hanging and the inseam on the mask is not clean-cut and extra material was not trimmed. Just saw my last review for this TO location and am really missing Sarah right now, she was so kind and lovely. Went from 5 stars to 1 tonight, had a really bad experience tonight because the child working there was abrasive, apathetic and rude. I don't need customer service in my face, I'd honestly rather be left alone during shopping but when I interact with an employee, I treat them with respect and expect it back in return. I've worked retail, it's not fun and it's not that serious, I get it, but listen. I had a lot of suits to try on and was apologetic when I asked for a fitting room and was met with a girl sitting on her cellphone looking annoyed that I was even talking to her. In the middle of trying on the suits, she yelled outside my dressing room, "Do you have things I can take from you?!"...Why are you hollering at me like that?? I handed her back the ones I was done with, all neatly put back on hangers and she didn't say a word, offer help, nothing. A woman came in and asked her specifically for help finding her daughters size and her only response was, "Well everything is final sale so...." Like, damn. I asked if I could get something down from up high and I felt stupid for asking cuz she had to look up from her phone from whatever important ish she must have been dealing with, I offered to use the hanger thing myself. I usually truly don't care about ppl on their phones at work, but she was on it the whole time and eventually it started ringing at full volume for an awkward amount of time before she answered it and proceeded to have a LOUD FaceTime conversation with someone about high school sports or some frivolous mess. I was done, I put everything on hangers and started leaving but not before she put on the fakest voice and overly loud yelled at our backs, "You have a GREAT night ladies!" and after the service she was showing previously, it was extremely childish and transparent. You're not slick, you're not cute or funny with that behavior. I stopped and stared at her until she looked at me. Really? "What? I want you to have a good night," and she's rolling her eyes. I straight up asked if she was in high school cuz what kind of play time f*ckery is this??? I asked for her name and instead of giving it to me, she said actually she's the manager. HOW?? Somebody tell me how this happened. That was one of the worst shopping experiences I've had. Looking for swimsuits is already not the funnest thing, nobody needs that kind of attitude on top of it, especially when you didn't do anything to deserve it. Newly opened on the 1st level of the Thousand Oaks mall, Swimspot is a great find if you're on the lookout for women's or children's swimwear. I usually buy my suits online because of the convenience factor and dread of full body mirrors;). This year, I decided I was going to treat myself to a super cute suit since I was taking an international beach vacay and let me tell you, Swimspot really came to my rescue. The shop itself is very clean and has a nice selection of swimsuit brands (Lux, Hurley, Ella Moss, etc.) and styles. Their website is fantastic and I definitely checked out their bikini builder before going in to get an idea as to what style would fit my body type best. Actually, I liked the website so much, I had to stop myself from reverting back to my old ways as it was SO tempting just to get the whole thing over with and purchase the suit online. What really brought me to write this 5 star review was the level of customer service I received from the store manager, who helped me to find the cutest coral Guess suit and locate my size, which was out of stock at basically every Swimspot store in California. After multiple calls and emails, she somehow managed to get me the matching bottoms from the Swimspot at the Topanga Mall, which was totally awesome. In all, it was very refreshing to find a store where the employees actually cared to help, be proactive, and were invested in my shopping experience. I came in with my mom to find a suit top. My mom was trying to find a suit as well. Sarah helped us and she made the experience great! She was extremely helpful and personable. Beyond that, she made you feel so comfortable. She was very uplifting and positive in a situation that could get easily ugly if left alone with your own negative self defeating thoughts. That's why I like this store because they cater to most all sizes. Their suits are super cute too! I came in trying on one suit top because I felt like other ones wouldn't look good. I have been in search for a bath suit as the summer is here!!! I looked around and SwimSpot caught my eye online. They advertise themselves as 'specialists' who can help provide you with the best fitting swimwear. There online selection seems extensive But swimwear is one of those things better seen in person. Found the local new store in The Oaks mall and decided to swing by. Well 1 star seems too generous for the absolutely horrid customer service. I walked into a pretty small store. I was already not impressed. Unless you are 15 years old most of these suits may not meet your needs. I walk to one side of the store and see one of the sales people moving hangers on a rack. I walk around and want to see if I can ask her for some help. I stand NEXT to her and she never acknowledges my presence. I hear the other employee saying hi to customers so I decide to move to the other side. I ask the second employee for a specific type and she doesn't seem to have any knowledge of what I am asking for. She wanders around and then says she 'doesn't think' she has what I am looking for. I explain that their website seemed pretty comprehensive and was hoping to find this. She asks the other one (the hanger obsessor) who also doesn't offer any knowledge. THey proceed to tell me to check their website. HUH???? I drove all this way for 2 employees who are clearly here only for a paycheck and not to help the customer. They took down all of the original pictures they had up when I bought them on 4/7/20. I just received my order on 5/1/20. No replies to my emails and no refunds! The girls in the shop really know what would look good on your particular body (young, old, skinny or larger). They wait on you with encouragement & guide you into your comfort zone. They keep the suits coming to you in the dressing room, knowing that going out into the shop to retrieve another size or type of suit would be embarrassing and eventually disappoint you to keep trying to find the right one. As a new mom I was looking for a one piece or tankini as I am not bikini ready yet.... They had such a great selection and were super patient and helpful. I ended up having a small defect with the suit I bought but didn't have my receipt... The computers at the store would not let them do an exchange but I called customer care and they immediately found my receipt in their system emailed it to the store and I was able to exchange! Decided to check out Swim Spot as I saw mature women, my age, carrying purchases and thought if they had good luck, I might also. And I did! I was greeted as soon as I walked in and a few minutes later, Michelle asked if I was looking for anything in particular. When I said that I wanted a romper to look presentable using my weighted hula hoop outside at our timeshare, she immediately showed me several options. Finding one that fit my bust, I mentioned that the loose bottom looked kind of frumpy on me and considered having it shortened; she suggested also having the bottom taken in. My tailor and I both agreed with this great idea! Went back 3 days later to try, and purchase, a Luxe outfit which had caught my eye. Jasmine was super helpful and extremely pleasant. Not only is the outfit made beautifully like my Athena romper but most importantly they are both made in the U.S.A.. Yes, a bit pricey; however quality, service and American-made are my priorities, so I'll definitely return. I walked in and two young girls were standing near the front chatting looked at me and went back to talking. I assumed they were customers because they didn't greet me. She takes my phone goes on the computer and hands me a receipt and says "here" and that was that. Just like hundreds of others I needed masks. I found SwimSpot and placed an order for some masks for my family. I understand the demand and accepted the fact that the masks would take awhile to get here. My credit card was hit immediately and then I waited and waited and waited. I finally requested a refund and 10 days later I received my masks. Two ply toilet tissue can't be found but these masks could be used instead since the are thinner than the toilet tissue. The masks were child sized and after doing as the package warned "WASH BEFORE USING" they shrunk to even smaller. In this time when money is tight I pretty much just threw $55.00 in the trash when I tossed the whole worthless purchase. Buyer beware. What kind of company uses such a serious scary situation to take money for such a worthless product??? The answer is SwimSpot. I was so happy to find Swimspot.com because they sell cute bikinis and have been on Livingsocial 2x now! Unfortunately, I cannot use my 2nd voucher because they won't allow you to use it for items that are on sale. While I will admit that the fine print on the voucher states that it cannot be combined with other offers, I don't consider an end-of-season site-wide sale to be another "offer." Now I have a voucher that expires in 7 days that I can't use because their entire site almost is on sale! Their response = I can pay full price for the item I want. I was with my mom shopping here last Friday, I was disgusted with the poor service we received. We went shopping here around 4PM on Black Friday to not only a cold welcoming, not even a hello from the girl, but no help whatsoever! My mom was looking for at least 3 suits for her trip to Hawaii, after walking around for 20 minutes picking out suits the girl didn't even get us a room started, my poor mother had her hands full with things to try on.
