Thanks to her detailed coaching, we are already seeing great results in such a short period of time. She is incredibly friendly, professional, and amazing at what she does. An extra bonus: my child told me that the instructors constantly exchange feedback and advice with each other. Ashanti has been such a blessing in making each lesson so meaningful and very productive. At times when our instructor is unavailable, the company automatically informs me by email way in advance and finds someone to cover our schedule. However, on days when we can't make it to our recurring lessons due to unforeseen circumstances, the cancellation process and scheduling our make-up lessons with different instructors at their portal has been such a smooth process. Besides Ashanti, our main instructor, all the other lady instructors has been such a huge support in helping my child grow and making gradual progress in all of our scheduled swimming lessons. They all have been very mindful of my child's sensory issues from the get go, which I'm so grateful for, and my child always looks forward to go swimming with them. It has been such a joy to finally found a company who's a perfect fit for my child's swimming needs. I've searched for many years, but couldn't find one either because of the long waitlist or they're just not funded by the regional center (traditional funding). If you had a meeting in their conference room with all the other swimmers, you'd be surprised that I am not alone in this matter. There are a lot of White Americans, African Americans, and only a few Latino swimmers who swim from 6:00 - 7:00 a.m. This review is long overdue. I still have a lot of money on my Long Beach pool card, yet I prefer going to the YMCA at Lakewood.

Clogging up the 24 hour fitness pool…read more They take 2 lanes (out of the 4 total) and half the time only use 1 during peak hours. They get upset when people actually swim laps next to them. If you're the type of parent that likes to stare at your phone while your kid pretends to learn how to swim from an "instructor" who has attitude this is your spot. Safe splash is probably accurate in its name. Nothing bearing even the slightest resemblance to an actual swim stroke is taught at this adults gym pool. Splashing and not drowning is all that I've seen. Get your kid in real swim lessons at an appropriate pool.

Monica is incredibly patient and intentional in the way she teaches. I could clearly see her introducing new skills step by step, making sure he understood, and encouraging him the entire time. What stood out most was how engaged he was. He was completely attentive, listening closely, and genuinely excited to try what she was teaching him. It is amazing to watch his confidence grow in the water, and I truly believe Monica deserves a lot of credit for that. She takes her time, communicates clearly, and creates an environment where kids feel safe and motivated to improve. We signed up our 4 1/2 year old for the 3 week bootcamp, and are amazed at our daughter's progress…read more Teacher Alex G was so incredibly patient, playful, and encouraging. Our daughter was initially extremely afraid and apprehensive getting used to her head under water. She cried bloody murder the entire first week. It was admittedly very difficult having to hear her scream the entire 15 minutes, but trust the process! Alex was so good with her and earned her trust. By the end of the second Monday, she got out of the water and exclaimed how much she loved swimming. I was shocked! Something just clicked. Not only did she get over her fear of having her head in the water, she loved it. She was able to roll, float on her back, and kick within the second week. She spent the third week refining skills and feeling more comfortable under water. We are so incredibly proud of the progress she's made in such a short amount of time. And while we feel so much better about the skills she's picked up, nothing can beat the confidence and resilience she's built along the way. Thanks, Teacher Alex!
