Highly recommended, especially Instructor Anissa! ‍…read more My child could already swim all four strokes, but their form wasn't very clean, so we decided to come back here to brush up on their skills. Anissa is by far the best instructor we've ever had. She is on a whole different level! She pays incredible attention to detail. Since mastering clean and accurate form is the foundation of swimming, she corrects even the slightest hand angles and head positions. Thanks to her detailed coaching, we are already seeing great results in such a short period of time. She is incredibly friendly, professional, and amazing at what she does. An extra bonus: my child told me that the instructors constantly exchange feedback and advice with each other. It's wonderful to see a team working together like that, and it creates such a positive atmosphere. If you are looking for quality swimming lessons, this is the place to go!

It's a lovely facility that has been kept in tip top shape. They have a variety of classes to sign your kids up for and if you're still standing you can get into a dance class too. They offer you a private trainer to try as a part of your membership. They have a walking track upstairs, there is a nutritionist on the property for consultation, they have classes and I think lunch for the elderly. When my kids were younger I practically lived at the Y because I was there 6 days a week. My kids are adults now and it's nice to be able to go to a class now for me. Membership isn't expensive either. I really am blessed to live within walking distance to my Y and it's a very nice facility.

As parents of a child with special needs and medical challenges, finding activities that are both…read moreinclusive and supportive of his individual needs can be challenging. Aquatic Explorations has given our son a place where he can participate, learn, grow, and feel included, and we are incredibly grateful to have found them. Our son began his swim journey with Coach Oliver, and we couldn't have asked for a better start. Coach Oliver was calm, patient, and understanding, always meeting our son where he was and allowing him to progress at his own pace. Those first swim experiences were incredibly positive and welcoming and helped build the foundation for the progress we are seeing today. He is now with Coach Jason, and all I can say is WOW! Slowly but surely, we have watched him become more comfortable, confident, and independent in the water. Coach Jason is exactly what he needs. He is kind and patient, but also firm and knows when to push him to do a little more each session. As parents who want to protect our child every step of the way LOL, having a coach we can truly trust means so much to us. Coach Jason is making such a positive difference in our son's life, and watching his progress and growing confidence in the water means more to us than words can express. We are so thankful to Coach Oliver, Coach Jason, and the entire staff for creating a place where our son is supported, encouraged, and included. Aquatic Explorations is truly the BEST!

Even though she is young, I see that they have other programs available as she progresses and advances through her swimming like the swim club, the snorkeling program, and the surfing program. I even took a surf lessons myself with the owner, who is absolutely fantastic. It is a great place not just for children to learn how to swim, but for adults to strengthen their skills or even explore other opportunities in the water. Ps they offer free trials

She is remarkably attentive, nurturing, and deeply supportive of my daughter's personal milestones. Under her guidance, we've seen incredible growth in our daughter--especially when it comes to building independence, learning how to cooperatively play and share with her peers, and building the focus needed during circle time. It has been so rewarding to watch our little one grow in confidence every single day she attends school. She has blossomed socially and emotionally, which means the world to us. We are so grateful to Ms. Ebony and the team for providing such a warm, enriching environment for our family!

I brought my 4-year-old son to Aqua Buddies for swim lessons. At first, everything seemed fine…read more During his initial lesson, he worked with one instructor and learned basic skills like blowing bubbles, which was a positive start. However, as we continued, each lesson was with a different instructor, and that lack of consistency made my son increasingly uncomfortable. At his age, familiarity matters, and it became clear he wasn't settling in the way I had hoped. What ultimately led me to write this review, though, was not the instructors--it was the customer service. My interactions with the scheduler/representative regarding scheduling, missed days, and invoices were unpleasant and rigid. There was very little kindness or willingness to work with me, and the communication felt cutthroat rather than supportive. Because of this inflexibility, my son essentially missed out on continued lessons. Instead of working with me as a parent trying to navigate life with two young kids and a disabled husband, I felt pushed out over a missed appointment. In retrospect, I now see how much that experience negatively impacted my son's relationship with the water. I'm writing this while watching my son thrive at Water Wings, where he is happy, confident, and excited to learn. Seeing the difference has made me realize just how behind he became due to how things were handled at Aqua Buddies. Thankfully, there are other options in this city. I truly wish Aqua Buddies placed more emphasis on compassion, flexibility, and customer service--especially when working with young children and families who may need understanding, not rigidity.

We also learned that there will be a push to increase teen memberships in the next few weeks so stay tuned if you're a teen looking for a great deal. That said, the staff working the front desk needs to be a bit friendlier, they seem bothered when you ask them a question and give the general aura that they don't want to be there. But I'm confident the dead weight will get cut as this facility continues to improve! Overall, this is the kind of place to go to make sure families are staying active and healthy together, and it will only get better and better as more people join.

I made the mistake of hiring this company without reading their Yelp reviews first…read more This lifeguard service is completely unreliable. They require full payment upfront, and after I booked, I exchanged numerous emails with them to confirm my lifeguard reservation. I was repeatedly assured that they had plenty of lifeguards available in my area and that there would be no issue providing coverage for my event. The day of my daughter's 8th birthday party, the lifeguard was a complete NO-SHOW. Many of our guests attended specifically because they were told a lifeguard would be on duty around the pool. Not only was this a major safety concern, but it was also incredibly embarrassing. I felt like I had misled my guests, despite doing everything possible to confirm the service beforehand.
